After the riveting experience of watching Someday or One Day and fearing that no Taiwanese drama will ever match it, I feel ready try and see a new one. So… Do you have any recommendations for well-written, fun and solid T-dramas? Bonus points if it’s below 20 episodes 😊
yes! what a great drama..
In Time with you – old, but gold. Must watch.
Yong Jiu Grocery store – a heartwarming story set in rural village with some terrific cast and wonderful OST.
The world between us – its on my list. But comes highly recommended.
Magic Moment – another heartwarming story about old friends with an adorable puppy (my lovely piggy) noona romance
and finally,
Everyone needs to experience ROY CHIU! Watch him in Marry me or Not for some sizzling chemistry with Alice..
Just pick any of his movies/shows.. He is amazing in everything.
Yeah, I have this questions for a lot of TW dramas. I didn’t really like the more recent ones and stopped watching them. I loves older ones but I don’t know if I could rewatch them 😅
I totally second:
– In Time With You – most compatible OTP in Ariel Lin and Bolin Chen
– The World Between Us – critically acclaimed piece based on real events
– “Everyone needs to experience Roy Chiu”!! Start with his signature romcom dramas like Office Girls or Marry Me Or Not. Then watch his movies Dear Ex and Man in Love. This is a full course meal to experience his charm and range of acting.
Thank you all for the recommendations! I see some familiar names in your picks (Derek Chang omg!), and ended up adding 4 dramas to my to-watch list. Yay!

I really liked Lost Romance and The Perfect Match. Meet Me @ 1006 is also good but looks a bit dated. All are 20-25 episodes iirc.

The classic one is always the original “In Time With You”, but the writer’s next drama was good as well – I’ll have to try remember the name…

Yes! I loved it when I saw it. But wonder if it looks dated now.
I miss watching Taiwanese romcoms.
