My dear Beanies.

October is over and after some very frantic piem months, I am almost back to non-piem life (but only almost).

If you remember, in July I went to Japan to attend Junho’s concert in Yokohama. It was a last minute decision, and also one of the best taken this year. I had the most wonderful week, with my Hottest and Itppas friends.

And then in October I went back to Japan again. This was a planned trip, but surely, my friend and I set it to match the 2PM 15th anniversary concert in Tokyo. Stars aligned and I could get tickets for both days, and even got tickets for four of my friends. As in a drama quote, I felt I must have saved a country in my one of my previous life to be this lucky. I could have never made it without the help of my Japanese friends, who tried again and again the lottery system so I could have those tickets. To be honest, my seats both nights were not really good (last rows upper floor), but when you only have lemons, you should try and make lemonade, and maybe add some gin and tonic and enjoy the show. I enjoyed it and made a dream come true: I watched babes live and they were as good as expected.

I only discovered 2PM in 2018, during their military hiatus (which lasted 5 years, yes… tell me about waiting and being patient), and from then on they became my happy pill for many reasons. Their music is number one, then there are their visuals that can’t be ignored, and their amazing bond although I guess every fangirl think this way about their idols, after all… we are fangirls.

15 have passed but my babes are still beast idols capable of performing acrobatics, and also being adorkable on stage. 10 out of 10 is a such a cheesy song, but I can assure that everyone in the Ariake Arena was laughing, dancing and having fun while singing this song. Please enjoy it!!!

What a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime experience!!! 🤩 Thank you for sharing about it! I got to see my first two K-pop concerts this year (SHAUN and Eric Nam), and I’m hoping to go to more – there’s nothing like the live experience and seeing them in person!

I have quite an ordinary life, although I confess going twice to Japan in a year can be a bit extraordinary… but then, sometimes when the opportunity arrives you need to take it because you only live once. I wish I could travel the world more than I do, but real life has this bad habit of wanting me to stick to my job so I can pay for all my dreams…

I have watched videos of that concert quite a few times. It truly feels like everybody is having the time of their lives!
