MBFW was a delightful watch! Someone trying to steal the groom! And that friend of hers! So funny. Julia portrayed the FL who is trying to destroy the wedding so endearingly I had lol moments a few times!
And yes, TBOL is visually stunning. I kept wandering how far Spanish animated films had come.
Loved him, too. Such a scene stealer. Tbh, I thought he was gonna say at the end that actually I’m straight and love you or something along the lines. His scenes are all iconic, and his energy matches well with Julia’s. I thought he outshone the ML a little bit also (in the sense that at some point, I began to question who was the ML?)

Finished My Best Friend’s Wedding (Julia Roberts) for the first time and thought it was so much fun!
Also finished the animated film The Book of Life and it is a treat to the eye. Spectacular.

Thinking about watching Coco and My Name is Loh Ki-wan and some older Hollywood movies.

Old Hollywood movies were fun. We used to watch (and dance to) the handful of musicals that we had every vacation.

I like My Best Friend’s Wedding and would rewatch it every now and then.
Why don’t you try Wedding Impossible which seems like something you may like.

You say so? This is the first time I’m recommended this, and even better it comes from you (who should have known my Kdrama preferences already).

“My best friend’s wedding” is one of my favorite rom-com movies. I watched it when it was released in cinemas and at least once more at home.
And I know I have watched “The book of Life” too, but I only remember it was visually beautiful.

Spain has some cool animated films too, but The Book of Life is a Mexico-US production 😊

He’s always great no matter what he plays. I pray and pray he’s a straight guy in MBFW – but a best friend in life is just as good.

Such an iconic scene when the whole table starts to sing the song together, and the chorus! 💖
