Scarlet Heart Thailand announced with an amazing cast (atleast the main MLs).
1. FL is not a good actress but thankfully it is more of MLs acting that matters
2. Nanon would KILL IT; very apt (infact the only one) who can do justice to iconic Lee Jung Gi’s role (assuming he is playing the role)
3. Win will definitely do justice to the sweet guy KHN role
4. Other guys, most of them are good actors…but sad that pretty sure they will also suffer with less airtime
5. Perth – ah!.. Don’t know what character he will play but he is the next most talented guy after Nanon in that cast

The best part, no matter how bad you do you just can’t do worse than what crap Korean version was… who remembers the two separate edits and show being released each week (lol.. Then people would compare and choose the narrative that felt best… ha ha because the order of scenes would also be different changing the narrative)

So I had to read up on Exhuma plot after watching it because it felt so underwhekming (bad subs).
But, dear lord, once you read the explanations, this is such a nice movie. More of historical shamanism sorts genre, but I think the script is taut and the mystery is genuinely good (once you read about it .. Lol)

exhuma – watched it, subs are really really bad… nothing out of the ordinary for its genre (we recently had one with kim tae ri)… but watchable ( i guess would have enjoyed more if subs were better and japanese portion was subbed even if somewhat

It would be fun that after their little outing, the memories basically come back and say

“Nope, explored Germany but not leaving. We want to go back to Korea and chill. Also, as a society we don’t trust non koreans and are heavy believers in power of oriental medicine. Korean doctor did not operate (heck Seon hwa should have operated) so we refuse the treatment”

I wish I were a chaebol who could throw tantrums and call tvn ceo into my office and glare at him and scare him into releasing all the episodes.

I keep going back and forth on SJ’s death theory.

If Serial Killer murdered SJ then how can SJ save himself? No one knows about it then how will SJ be better prepared.

There will always be a gap where mature 34 yr old Sol does not recognize SJ until this 34 yr old and time traveling 34 yr crosses path with original 34 yr old and takes over permanently (that sweet crossover point which is after she fell into the water looking for the watch). The only way this is possible is that upon 2nd time travel, 34 yr old finds out from police that something is fishy about the death.

However, one glaring point is that if characters know about time travel and past is changing then how does one make sure that the “death” must happen and 34 yr old Sol is compelled to time travel. For 34 yr old Sol to feel that compulsion she must feel the guilt and desperation to save SJ. SJ must die. We know one character is hidden – one who bumped into Sol and her phone fell at concert venue, one who knew she will be found in the river upon her time travel return and took her to hospital… who is this guy – SJ or TS? Two bodies of same person cannot exist in the timeline.

Ah!!!… Who rang the bell… the actual murderer or SJ-TS’s planning. And, if it is planning then the death hasn’t really happened .. Only the news of death made public… now whether he miraculously heals before post portem or replaces dead body is another confusing point

Another bit now is that he will try to become an idol because he knows only that way he can stay in Sol’s life. Time traveling is really looping here.

‘m obsessed but not the point 😀 … point is, drama’s name is “Time walking on memories” .. interesting curious name given it seems she did lose quite a lot of memories post accident in original time

Ok, since in this drama soul time travels and not the bodies then SJ can’t time travel since two bodies don’t exist in the same timeline. However, with each change, the memories of original characters (including SJ) change. So, at some point SJ will still come to know that time travel is happening and FL is here because he died on a certain date.

Now, going back to my original theory of him being murdered. In the end, SJ will be better prepared with help of his friends and all to avert the whole murder.

The big question is who is the murderer and who is the person who is saving Sol and is doing things behind the scenes in 2023.

1. If SJ is not time traveling, highly likely, then the behind the scene architect has to be TS. I think this show won’t keep him just for a 2ML role fulfillment for sake of some episode filler lover triangle. No one knows what happened to TS in original timeline(abroad/died/jailed); maybe Sol saves him too with these time travels. Also, for sure TS will also piece together that Sol is time traveling

1. Murderer – and why after 15 years. SJ is famous. Let’s go back to the cab driver. It is clear that we are talking about a serial killer – potentially someone who got arrested and hence never bothered Sol again. But now that he is out the first person he goes to find is the guy who would have got him captured aka SJ.
