Watching the J-drama Chugakusei Nikki, which is extremely controversial (with good reason).
However, the scene-stealer is Haraguchi-san. She\’s the character I\’d love to see more often in any drama 🙂

          I’m so grateful we got the subs that even 3 weeks later wouldn’t make a difference.
          We had to spam Viu so they could buy the rights of this season to sub.
          While the other choice was TVN Asian that airs the show 1 week later and to pray for someone to encode.
          Cable shows are more difficult to buy the rights for than public tv ones

Now that Njttw season 5 started, I\’m stalking Viu for the subs. Really hope they get the licence again.
At least YG Future Strategy Office is on Netflix. And as a fan of The Office US, I can\’t wait ..

    Someone mailed viu and their reply was that they aren’t doing the subs this time around!

    I hope that’s not true… Someone else said that we will have to wait till Saturday and I prefer that option over the no subs one!

      I can’t even find the raw version to spoil myself (bitter lol) and then this sad news about viu not subbing (thanks for sharing ^^), subs over nothing, I’ll endure the wait T_T .
      side note : that reminds me of Kang’s kitchen long wait for subs :/ , the ransom for an hilarious season !

        I caught like 15 mins live and then Twitter was full of live translation tweets! If u want, I can link some for you tomorrow… There are small clips out on tvn’s YT channel too…

        Really hope it gets subbed by regular subbers. Otherwise, subbers from the 3 fandoms might have to collaborate and bring em out.

          I'll wait for a whole raw video or better a subbed video on my usual variety show websites ^^.

        I am grateful too! It’s wonderful what they do but we are spoilt by the drama subbers who give subs just a day later! ☺️
        Seriously though, subbers are awesome!

          This reminds me of when VIU bought the rights to sub Knowing Brother/Ask us anything, and suddenly we could get subs the next day instead of 2-4 days later..
          Too bad that ondemandkorea is not doing subs for NJTTW either, it only has it raw for americans 🙁

            I guess if it had been a regular weekly show, buying rights would have made sense but because it’s yearly with no guarantee of a next season, buying rights might be costlier?

            I guess I am just gonna wait for the subbed one now having seen many clips raw anyway!

    Is there a specific drama you are looking for? I haven’t seen anyone doing that recently since we’ve been getting more official recaps.

    The site doesn’t really have a way to find posts on the Beanie wall unless you know who started the post, then you can find them by searching them on Google or another browser.

      It was just weird when someone would say, “we’re discussing this drama in this post”, but when I search the site I can never find posts like that. That’s why I asked.

        If someone is considerate enough to post a link, then you can find it, or sometimes looking at the highly commented articles, you can find Beanies that have hijaked news stories about said drama that is not being recapped and started their own discussion there. We did this with Pretty Noona and A Poem A Day before there were actual recaps. There’s another one that some people did recently. Also, there are discussions happening off the site too, like rabbit.com and WhatsApp of random Beanies who started chat rooms there. So, lots of places to feed the addiction!

        Their chemistry was 🔥 Just thinking about them makes me all fuzzy. I wish they’d reunite in a drama but LMJ seems to have left acting. I like her so much that I felt rather upset when I realized who her husband was. But oh well, like you said, it’s her life.

    you know I should write an in defense post for this, because inexplicably I loved that drama no matter how much of a hot mess it was. My heartbreak at the end was horrible and made worse because the pay off for their pain was not shown in the drama and only in my imagination. Yet, I found Teacher to be at his utmost captivating in this role of the tortured princeling who felt into the power struggle he’d tried to avoid since childhood<3
