Beanie level: Water maid

So she lost her powers? The writers are really just writing anything at this point. Next thing we know, they will say that Eom ji never died🙄

Let the gays (bisexual in this case) breath

They handled DC’s storyline very poorly. Very badly done.

Do ha is the ultimate honeypot. Attracting everyone like flies until they become obsessed with him. Such a huuuge burden

In as much as the central plot of “My lovely liar” is interesting, aside from the main actors, every other character’s arc is boring and doesn’t interest me one bit. I ff through all the scenes that are not the main characters.
Which baffles me because they don’t add to the plot. Those bakery and bar owners serve no purpose. Sol hee’s parents add nothing to the plot especially the mum and her numerous dates. Do ha’s mum and her political shenanigans add no substance to the plot. I am exhausted and my fingers ache from ff’ing so much. At this point, I’m watching to see how they will execute the reveal of the murderer.

That random Kopiko PPL in ep8 of “My lovely liar” is so unserious. It totally came out of the left field and smacked me in my face 😩😩😩

With the latest twist in “My lovely liar”, I guess it’s time to continue from where I stopped, keeping in mind the twist and looking out for the signs

I watched “Moving” first😂😂although the episodes were too short this week, shits about to go down!!!! The protagonists took a beating this week, but Mihyun is so badass.
My sunshine boy finally flew

Just got back from work. With my dinner before me, I have the almighty dilemma of choosing between “Moving” and “My journey to you” to watch while eating😩😩😩

They’re both my current favorite shows

hows my journey to you.. like what’s good about it given you are watching..and is it intense love story.. or sthg else

A lot is going on at once. If you stick to the MC, it’s a sweet romance between the greenest flag ML and a lying assassin FL.
If it’s the second couple, a battle of wits and a tout almost ‘sexy’ tension between the 2ml and 2fl.
Then both couples intersect along with all the interesting side characters within the backdrop of a deadly and sinister assassin organization pulling the strings from the shadows.
If I want to be snarky, I’ll say the series takes itself too seriously and wants to be smart but for some obvious plot holes.
On the other hand, the series is actually smart and the suspense will actually keep you hooked and guessing.
The one takeaway is that everyone and I mean everybody in the series is beautiful.

Also, I’ve finished “Love you seven times”. The plot was fast paced and obvious, yet the story was interesting enough for me. They lost the plot towards the end, but that’s to be expected for majority of cdramas.
Ryan Ding is an amazing actor. His eye acting is exceptional. Him as the cat demon king was incredible. His mannerism was exactly cat-like. As for the FL, I am sure she did her best. She got better towards the end or I was able to ignore her limited acting to an extent.
I genuinely liked it from the beginning and I don’t regret watching and finishing it. For context, I can’t bring myself to watch the last ep of “Legend of Anle”, even with my darling Gong Jun.
7/10 only because of the good storytelling and Ryan Ding.

I knew it was coming, yet ep12 and 13 of “Moving” was an emotional mess. Juwon’s grief was palpable. Him coming out of that elevator felt like an invasion of privacy.
I’m sure he felt extreme guilt for always being absent. He has lost his direction 😭😭
I’m sure this week will return to the “present”.

I logged in to comment and complain about my current watchlist just to discover that I’ve leveled up to “Jang Gue-Rae”!!!

Congratulations to me🩵🤍🩵🤍

I started watching “our beloved summer” and I enjoyed it at first, however, I got bored by ep7 and dropped it at ep8. I feel like the angst is unnecessary

Back to my action packed “Moving”

I still don’t know the main plot of “Moving”, but I really love everything I’ve seen so far. The ensemble cast and story so far is fantastic. The parents are electric.
Another show I surprisingly like is “Love you seven times”. It took me a while to warm up to the lead actress, she can’t emote properly, but her acting fits into the story. The plot is really good and I love the pacing. Essentially, if you focus on the story and direction alone, the drama is good and I hope it remains so till the end

Randomly going about my day and the floating scene from “moving” pops into my mind. The kids are so adorable especially Bongseok😂😂
This clip captured the hilarious moment

Binged watched the available episodes of “My lovely liar” and “Moving”. I don’t understand what’s happening in “Moving” but I love it and I wish “My lovely liar” could be faster. I prefer “Moving”

Also, I finally know the kdrama to watch after dropping KTL. “Moving” because of the amazing Han Hyo Joo and “My Lovely Liar” because of the husband and wife clip😂😂
It was hilarious

I want to start!!! Soon…. Lol
I just finished “The Longest Promise” not too long ago (late last week) and that was a lot 🥺🥺🥺 So good!!! But was a lot… But then I keep seeing clips of this everywhere (YouTube, Instagram)—must be my algorithm— and I’m very tempted to start. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and start

Please watch it. I want to know your bias too😂😂. Everyone can act, the storyline is good, plot is at a great pace, the set is beautiful and the cast is gorgeous.

I’ve liked Tan Jian Ci since “Under the Skin”, but I have not seen anything of the other male leads before, in terms of dramas. Yang Zi is one of my C-actress biases ♥️ I love her

Although, I finished watching this episode of “Hello, Saturday” (variety show) they were on to promote the drama, and both Zhang Wan Yi and Deng Wei definitely made an impression on me 😍

OMG!!! I’ve never watch a video that’s not a movie or series on YouTube that’s more than 15mins, yet, I finished this without knowing 😂😂😂😂😂
All the games are really interesting. I really like the heart rate games😂😂
Tan Jian Ci is extremely funny and Yang Zi is really flexible!!!

Yea, this was a really fun episode! I catch this show on YouTube every Saturday, when new episodes come out— new episodes with subs might need an extra week (but I don’t need the subs 😏).
I love how Yang Zi is able to take hold of the atmosphere during the games but in a way that is so that others get more comfortable, mainly Zhang Wan Yi and Deng Wei, as it seems they have never been in a variety show like this one before, and she wants to make sure they are doing okay—as the atmosphere can get overwhelming at times, with all the crazy games and a live audience watching— and are included. Yang Zi a veteran actress in her own right for a reason— she not only has the acting chops, but is also a very well-rounded entertainer and person ♥️ Tan Jian Ci is actually a resident member of this show, so he’s definitely very comfortable there haha

Here’s the footage that didn’t make it to air (it might be because of the time limit set by the network/government as to how long an episode can run). It’s mostly just the punishments for the games, but still so funny

I plan to give Ep. 1 a try tomorrow. I’m desperate to get myself out of this drama slump I’m in after completing “The Longest Promise” and I can’t keep re-watching “Where Dreams Begin”… I think I’ve done so 5-6 times already 🙈

This show is gorgeous, and I’m in love with the music.
The last Tong Hua drama I watch was “Sound of the Desert” (2014)
I like Tan Jianci’s Fangfeng Bei so far. Xiang Liu started out being abusive, and it made me uncomfortable.

    1
    1

And it’s because of that abuse that I couldn’t warm up to him as a love interest. That scene where he breaks the branch and she falls from the tree pisses me off because it was so unnecessary and mean. Now, I know he changes and loves her more and probably did more for her, but first impressions 😩😩
Fangfeng Bei is Xiang Liu in a nicer font😂😂

If I was Wen shuo in “Legend of Anle” I will be pissed to constantly be told that i remind someone about her dead brother. Once is enough!!

Also ep32 and 33 pissed me off Anle/Di ziyuan is a hypocrite

I watched the first four episodes of “Lost you forever”. Suffice to say, I’ve found my new obsession for the summer. The acting is great, the CGI except that bird plane is good, the set and color grading is beautiful and the actors are very pretty especially Deng Wei.
I obsessed over TTEOTM and they really did Deng Wei dirty in that drama because he is so charming in LYF. I’ve only ever watched Yang Zi in Ashes of Love and she’s so cute here.
Special shoutout to the kid actors especially the boy. His acting was so raw. I felt everything he wanted to convey.
