It’s not a drama related, but

what’s your favourite sweet treat?

I’m not talking about someone’s abbs 😉

I have a huge sweet tooth so hard to narrow down, but I do love ice cream.

And cookies and milk will always be a good comfort fix.

I’m like you, Beverly. Too much of a sweet tooth to be able to pin down one thing!

If I had to choose, maybe ice cream (Baskin Robbins has a great pumpkin cheesecake seasonal flavour which I’ve been devouring lately) or maybe donuts?

Interestingly, I don’t eat cookies except when you put them in ice cream!

I’m sugar addict as well.😂 It’s hard for me to resist and I love to explore new desserts and sweets. Recently I bought cotton candy machine to make my son happy time to time and it works! But it’s the best eating it on festivals and farmers market, nothing will beat.

But last time I bought for visitors organic hazelnut spread and I was craving for something sweet so I finished to open it and of course I don’t find it enough “juicy” so I added some homemade raspberry jam and that was it!

Cakes… I can sell my soul for cakes. Cakes with simple flavors and minimal frosting/fondant cause when it starts to get complicated, IT’S NO LONGER CAKE!!! I want to taste the cake not frostings or fillings – JUST THE CAKE!
Sorry for yelling. I’m pretty passionate about cake.

I look forward to my birthday for just one reason – to buy a whole cake for myself and eat it by myself with a justifiable reason. Last year, I bought a cake for my brother’s birthday. He doesn’t live with me…👀… not even in the same continent but I bought it and ate it for him in celebration. I’ve grown to be a person that deals with the shame of sheer gluttony with pride. When there’s cake, there’s a way!

The first 2 years in France were tasting years for me. Especially the second one when I started to talk in french as well. Going to these boulangeries where there’re on display so many goodies to try. I didn’t like all of them, but “tarte of fraise” or “framboise” and “kouign aman” are my favourites. Later I started to make them and I love homemade “Tarte citron” from real organic lemons and “tarte tatin”.

But every country has their delicious desserts and I love Pavlova soooo much and carrot cake. Oh, there’s so much to love!!!

By the way I’m so glad I’m not the only one who buys and eat my own birthday cake. 🎂🥂
