    I was worried about the quality of the animation, given it was 3D and it’s usually more awkward than 2D. But so far so good. And it matched the hilarious tone of the story. And I definitely love the voice actor who dubbed Shizun here, it’s perfect.

Being a Nolan fan, I caught Tenet yesterday. God, I can’t even remember which was the last movie I watched in cinemas before Covid happened.

My favorite part was actually the use of music, LOL. Then the bromance. I thought Robert Pattinson did great here, surprisingly. Coz my brother showed me the Batman trailer & it looked awful to me. I was like “how can a sparkling vampire be the batman?!” *sorry not sorry*

Back to Tenet. Nolan loves to play with time. Inversion this time. ⬇️

      Pattinson was fine but I kept asking myself why didn’t he cast Cillian Murphy , except for Michael Caine I don’t think he used any of his regular actors.

    While I understood the overall plot I don’t think Nolan explained the concept very well, I’ll wait for it to go to streaming to watch it again so I can pause and look things up as I watch.

I just found out Jasper Liu has an upcoming drama with Shen Yue, & it turns out to be a remake of Clean With Passion For Now.

I chanced upon Skam France Season 3 & I love it.

It’s a teen drama & this particular season “is principally a coming out story that deals with issues of love, sexual identity, authenticity, mental illness, religion and friendship.”

I ask myself if it’s really that good, coz I didn’t even do that for MXTX or Priest or Wuze’s novels. But I just really like it, very much. 😍

It’s Okay to not be Okay was one that I couldn’t marathon as I subconsciously want to extend Kim Soohyun’s screentime (as if it was possible) coz GOSH HE’S SO DARN PRETTY IN THIS!!! 😍😍 I didn’t even finish YFAS years back, lol. I wanna see him in more comedies in future, but he cries so beautifully at the same time…

Kwak’s cameo was love too.

    I love their long-standing friendship 🥰🥰🥰 They met when they were just 18 (she) and 19 (him) when they filmed ISWAK & TKA, and it’s so great to see that, not only have they become great colleagues, but truly close friends, especially when it’s so hard to come by when you’re in the show biz

        It aired from September ‘05 to February ‘06, they were both 23 when the drama went on air, but in an In-depth interview (Which has since been taken down, of course 😕), Ariel Lin had said it herself that they were only about 18/19 when they filmed ISWAK, but were a little older when they filmed TKA

Always thought the exes in On the Way to the Airport were bad enough, until I saw Will You Have Dinner With Me. I would say it’s a different level of hell.

OTP was lovely, but the thing I will miss most is Keanu Ahjussi’s laughter.

    I watched the first two episodes only, with thoughts of getting back to it later. But based on everyone’s comments, I don’t think that’s going to happen. In those first two episodes Tae-wan looked like the most interesting character of the whole show.

WOAH. I just found out that my favorite Taiwanese director is the executive producer & screenwriter of an upcoming BL movie, Your Name Engraved Herein. My expectations sky-rocketed instantly at this piece of news, even before I watch the trailer.

I’m talking about Qu You Ning, Winnie. He directed my favorite The Rose, the well-known In Time with You & It Started with a Kiss. (I also just realized that he’s one of the directors for the Chinese drama, Go Go Squid. *failed fan*)

    BORN AGAIN was a reluctant pass but I am a fan of Jang Ki-yong. Definitely he needs a loving father like Park Seo-joon had in ITAEWON CLASS. In 3 of the dramas I have seen JKY in he has struck out in the dad department: KILL IT, COME AND HUG ME, and GO BACK COUPLE.

Couldn’t say I have no complaints, but I forgive everything just for Professor Dad’s monologue. Furthermore, the actor delivered it OH SO DARN beautifully.

Beanies who had watched this movie before, how did you find it?

P.S. Just wanna say I’m fucking spoilt by my BL novels for all the happy endings I get.
