Touch Your Heart/Reach of Sincerity
Attorney Choi Yoon Hyuk Fan Club: So Annoying. So Handsome!

An absurdly long post to share with shippers and admirers of Att’y Dan and/or Atty’ Choi: @ally-le, @kimbapnoona, @coffeprince4eva, @astromantic, @alessar, @artwriter76, @loveblossom, @tesshan, @dramafan12, @natzillagorilla, @snarkyjellyfish, @hotcocoagirl, @zanearaki and YOU (credit to kimbapnoona for phrasing).

Yes, I’m avoiding other work I should be doing.

Attorney Choi and Attorney Dan vibrate at an irresistible frequency and I love every second they share the screen. What are the chances @zanearaki and I get to realize our hope to see Choi fall for Dan first?

I present 10 exhibits supporting the argument that Attorney Choi Yoon Hyuk is potential boyfriend material for Attorney Dan Moon Hee—while ignoring the Mama’s Boy issue for now.

1. Aside from that embarrassing pro-bono case, he’s actually an accomplished, principled attorney.

    2. His work as a divorce lawyer has given him insight into the female psyche. He grasped Yoon Seo’s need to vent and was able to make her feel supported. How adorable that he took delight in making her laugh! (Ep. 7, 52:01)

    3. As @ashes2ashes observed in the Ep. 8 comments, Choi and Dan are completely truthful to one another about their foibles despite their differences in seniority.

3a. Initially, he’s juvenile as he mocks her romantic nature after witnessing her cringey Subway Auntie moment in Ep. 2 (37:37). But in Ep. 6 (58:16), he’s visibly ruffled when she calls him out for bragging. Why is he standing so close to her?

3b. It’s hilarious how Choi and Dan initially reject the trope-y setups they find themselves in (Ep. 6 (18:21). They’re both equally panicked and repelled when stuck together in the elevator:

I believe that funny face he makes is really born out of love even if without any self-awareness. Attorney Choi subconsciously wants to divert Dan’s attention away from the crisis to ease her mind!

    4. While it’s a stretch to call them work friends, I suspect there’s genuine curiosity about Dan’s life behind Choi’s teasing and feigned boredom. (Ep. 8, 27:17)

    5. He can be a gallant and compassionate friend. (Ep. 8, 32:20—the whole coffee shop scene).
I normally despise wrist grabs and have even dropped shows because of them. I find the scene epic because his kindness cancels his cruel, juvenile behavior at the Subway (Ep. 2) and Choi gives Dan a magnificent drama moment in front of that trashy coffee guy.

I loved this scene! That look he gives her after he takes her arm, like, “I know this is weird, and I know you’re ashamed, but let’s just fix it and be done.” It’s not annoyance at all. It’s what friendship is. He teases her because he genuinely cares about her.

I thought the wrist grab was more a point of him finishing all this scene in a dramatic way for the sake of dramatism than an actual wrist grab!

    6. I love his surprisingly sound, heartfelt advice:

From Viki translation: “Lawyer Dan. I don’t want to give you advice at this time, but from now on, when you are looking at a man, instead of looking at his face, please look at his heart. … There are so many good men in this world. Why are you crying because of a guy like that?”

    7. He’s a cool cat when he’s not being a dork. That insouciant backwards wave at 36:33 gave me flashbacks to Joan of Arcadia’s “God wave.”

    8. Our Mama’s Boy earned Dan’s appreciative smile at the end of this scene (Ep. 8, 36:38).

    9. He didn’t dodge. How is he so damn breezy here?

    10. Lastly, don’t they look good together? I’d love to see them do a fashion editorial together. I’m absolutely smitten by Park Kyung Hye’s quirkiness and unconventional beauty. Look at what she’s hiding underneath those mannish suits! Sure, Shim Hyung Tak’s abs are arresting but look at his perfect forehead-to-bangs ratio! This is how a grown man can wear bangs without looking like he’s pretending to be 20!

Love this! Yes, the collective visuals of these two in more flattering clothing—or no clothing, as the case may be—we should petition it!

I’m sorry, but, you committed a grave sin. Your forgot to add, he takes care of himself/he makes sure he looks good and he has the fabled aura!

I salute to your dedication for our soon-to-be lovebirds, @tsutsuloo. Also very honored to be included in this fan club.
Please rejoice and do not be afraid to come out of your shell, fellow DC shippers! I know you’re out there reading this thread in silence. *evil laughs*
Shipping aside, I can relate damn well to the procrastination part, though.
p.s I will wait patiently for the day Choi going head over heels for her first. Wish me and @tsutsuloo some luck! ( but I’m okay if it’s not happening, because the DC ship needs to sail regardless!)
