by | October 20, 2015 | 554 Comments
javabeans: Sooooo, we’ve been wanting to bring back the “If You Like…” series of reviews, where we take a theme or motif and recommend other shows like it. I’d say that’s quite the genre mash-up, but we did have It’s Okay, It’s Love doing quite well not too... More »

by | December 25, 2013 | 90 Comments
The one good thing about working one day a year and outsourcing most of your menial labor to elves is that it gives you plenty of time to watch dramas. This year I discovered that I had watched them all wrong before, because when you watch with an open mind, you can gain valuable life... More »

by | December 20, 2013 | 132 Comments
It’s that time of year, for Show to trade in all its good deeds and gold stars for a spot on Santa’s list. Have you been naughty, nice, or something in between? A Year in Compliment Sandwiches [Year in Review, Part 3]

I Watched for You [Year in Review, Part 2]
by | December 13, 2013 | 214 Comments
Given the sheer volume of shows that dramaland puts out every year, I can think of plenty of reasons as to why I dropped a title or two from my watching list in 2013. And yet, I also realized that there almost always happened to be something or someone behind why I watch the ones... More »

Cheers to Dramaland 2013 [Year in Review, Part 1]
by | December 9, 2013 | 342 Comments
Another year has flown by, and it’s time to look back, reminisce, and assess how 2013 treated us in dramaland. And in taking a trip down memory lane (sure it’s a short lane, but so’s the memory), it strikes me that 2013 was pretty good in churning out a steady diet of watchable dramas, but... More »

Mi-rae’s Choice: Episode 16 (Final)
by | December 4, 2013 | 358 Comments
It’s the end of this crazy time-travel-but-really-alternate-realities wormhole where some things are left the same while other things are changed. You can never be sure what kind of consequences your present actions may have in the future, but at least you can rest assured in the notion that there are some things you can change... More »
