I had two good news this week:
(1) Crash Landing on You and Blind actor Ha Seok-jin (41 yr. old) became the winner of Netflix's reality game show The Devil's Plan last week. I got an interesting trivia that found on Ha Seok-jin's Wikipedia page: DYK that he was also a part of regular member of Hot Problematic Men (2015-2020) and before that, he was on five SG Wannabe's MVs during 2000s (2005-2008).

(2) Korean-American actor Daniel Henney finally married to Japanese actress-model Ru Kumagai in their private American wedding according to exclusive SpoTv report on October 20.

It's good to see actors from that generation settling down. Maybe Hand Towel (Song Seung-heon) will follow the Henney. This makes me think of JB and GF, who gave them the nickname. 😂

Someone asked on the DR JIN thread why he is called Mr Hand Towel, and Shiku answered.

Two things:
1. His name in Korean sounds (not sure spelling-wise or pronunciation-wise) close to hand towel
2. The Korean media once said that his acting was as dry as a hand towel

JB explained it somewhere, but I can't find it.

3

I first saw them calling him that when he was wearing only a pool towel in some promo pics for My Princess. But I don't know if it had originated before that.

3

@midnight

I think that's when it started, or maybe "East of Eden."
The Henney probably started in one of their drunk podcast. Lol

3

@midnight the My Princess towel visual is when I remember it from as well 😂

2

I have watched him in Hot Problematic Men. He is one smart cookie and has the nicest personality to go with it. I saw the first episode of The Devil's Plan and I am happy to hear that he won it all!

More observations from my recent trip to Seoul:
ECONOMY: South Korea has not recovered from the pandemic. Many places I was at 5 years ago no longer exist (including many international chains on Google maps). I noticed that convenience stores got smaller (and not better). I found that many retail workers were older than teen or college students. A local came up to me in the subway and asked where I was from. He then thanked me for coming to Korea to visit as tourism remains far below pre-pandemic levels.
ENTERTAINMENT: It was reported this week that movie theater admissions were only 45% of pre-pandemic levels. The Chuseok holiday season used to be good for new releases, but in the past few years it has been the opposite. With this year’s holiday officially stretched to 6 days, many people left to travel and not hang around their local theaters. I found the first run movies I saw has about 1/3 seats filled; I also found that Seoul ticket prices are about 45% HIGHER than the average nationwide movie ticket price.
FASHION: Five years ago Korean women wore designer fashion and accessories whether they could afford it or not. It was a status symbol. In 2023, jeans and sweats were more in vogue (perhaps since most were not working). And if people were dressed up, women chose more often than not simple dresses while men wore business casual.
CULTURE: South Koreans are addicted to their screens. On the subway, if they were not dozing off they were scrolling through their smartphones. New webtoons must drop Friday midnight because on Saturday morning, people were scrolling fast through them. Otherwise, young men appeared to watch sports highlights or games while young women watched short videos and had chat groups.

Weather - alright - It's cold - night n morning both.

Summer and cold season both tease you.

Rain - Yeah - shouldn't be - but here it is - no storm though

Moody - weather all around - a bit on high side of power

Storms - same as every time but this time has more power - be ready for many more articles.

See - cold season this time around makes new highs or not.

As expected as always say - cold season - action season - protest season aka defense companies milk around season.

Trivial stuff all around - nothing much surprising. Not enough for popcorn time.

ELECTIONS - this dude can't go more - u r responsible for ur vote - then we hv another dude who isn't well either - so better select representative not at top but look at them when they are changing seats.

The boys - the macho boys reveling in machismo need an enemy - u find enemy - if not u create the enemy - distraction and fear always work out for you.
Simplest of strategies n tactics.

Every hero is hero because there is a credible villain. Villain's job is to create fear, despair, misery and hero's job is too catch all the hopes and pretend to fulfill them - ofcourse at great risk but rewards also great. Unless u put ur life on line u can't achieve much.

The most entertaining gamble is gamble of life.

AI - It was used in 2020 elections too but this time around it will be so big that all other advertisers won't stand a chance.

2024 - battles of AI - the one who invests more - wins d game.

CRYPTOS increased GPU prices so much and now AI and chip fight between few leading to major increase once more. Most is taken by political parties themselves to build their own social platform. Without money there is no election.

As said few weeks back - keep eye on Housing - Rents r high - house prices aren't as much - Inflation up or down is just matter of which newspaper u read.

China has its own housing bubble - Europe has its own supply n demand issue with monopoly and fast mode intentional rising to gain as much as u can like there is no tomorrow.

Elections so talk about america - same - Top 1% is everywhere the same - suply n demand - inflation n wages leading to new highs but no stable buyers. Elections bring more volatility and money in market so sharp jump n fall is expected. The one who is attentive gonna get the best deal.

Best deal which itself is inflated by 20-35% - enjoy this ride.

This is why i said - need more inflation - unless this happen - general public won't be on streets. Streets all around the world.

Lee Sun-kyun's agency confirmed that he's the actor being investigated over drug use at a room salon. I was hoping that it wasn't him even though all the hints pointed to him (top star L-ssi, in his 40s, known for his distinctive low voice, debuted in an MBC sitcom in 2001, received critical acclaim at home and abroad four years ago).

I don't know what type of drugs he took but the thing that irked me is how people mentioned his wife and kids. I think someone was like he has teen kids and their lives are now ruined!

Dramatic much?

But seriously, I am so sensitive to the "crimes of the parents = kids should be shamed and ostracized forever" thing.

Also they'll blame the spouses too. Like is no one in SK responsible for their own actions? Everything is almost some shared blame. Idol wears offensive clothes or does offensive things? It's the stylist and mangager's fault. Husband embezzles? The wife should've known/she had to have known. Kids are bullies? (Well, that one is a bit more complicated cause alot of people tend to enable bullying) but still, adults being bullies in official environments? Stressful homelife or professional pressures.

When I first read this, I was shocked because this guy has it all from fame, wealth and family, including a successful wife. As a third person, we really will never really know the circumstances or mental health he was suffering from to make that decision. It could also be influence from someone close to him, but it makes me wonder how many other celebs are not getting the help they need and are internalizing their pain in silence.

I guess the actor has some unhappiness he was trying to self medicate or the damn SK drinking culture had him "networking" and drinking all the time or possibly both.

1

Required fields are marked *

This is just sad. I don't even know what to say. Sad for all the hard work he's put into his career. More sad for the kids who have to face their peers at school. I'm more worried for his family than him. He should have enough savings after decades in the industry to get through. Maybe they should move abroad and start afresh for the kids' sake. Or maybe that's not necessary. I don't know. It's strange how lenient we are in the US towards actors like Brad Pitt for drug use and Ben Affleck for alcoholism. Or Tom Cruise for belonging to a sect. They're still lauded and very much employed.

Brad Pitt is known for drug use? I did not know that.

The example I've been using as a conparison was Charlie Sheen or Robert Downey Jr.

I use both as example cause they both used drugs but one has been working on maintaining his soberity while the other is an unapologetic hedonist.

I know it's a cultural difference but seriously, imagine if Charlie Sheen's family were held responsible for his actions? Everyone who has their own lives and careers or who just have him a father.

I watched 1 episode and quit, so I don't know anything about the show except that it was well-received.

3

Not enough close-ups of the leads. They need more. A lot more. 16 episodes was not enough cause they had some talking in bewteen close-ups. They need another 16 ep in non stop close-ups.

The cool thing about a show getting a lot of hype and fame was that it became an opportunity for the cast and production to open their wings.
People would get exited about their oppas/unnies next project. Same for the screenwriter and the director of the show.

Actors will get more offers. Maybe they'll try to do something new or bold to challenge themselves (or maybe they'll get typecasted?), and the PD and the writer will get more support for their next projects.

And the audience gets a drama that becomes a classic or a cultural reset or just some disaster that will make us cringe even ten years later and make us think "how can anyone like this?".

But now you're telling me that they'll use this opportunity for a season 2? Of a romcom? A ROMCOM? 😂😂
They can literally use this opportunity to do something better or worse, but at least DIFFERENT.

I didn't watch Romantic Dr. 2 or 3 but at least that's a show about doctors, with a new cast, new medical cases, new traumas, and the "romantic" professor with more life lessons.

But what more can you get from a show about a rich kid that falls in love with his pretty employee with a pretty smile? I would say "I didn't watch the show so maybe I'm wrong", but even the beanies that watched it and loved are saying that there's nothing more to see here, so... Why??

After watching Shopping Wang Louie, I watched Terius Behind Me, not Shopping Wang Louie 2. And after TBM I watch the disaster DDSSLLSol. And I'm ready to watch the writer's next drama. But there's no way I'm watching DDSSLLS 2.

Are kdramaland romcoms going to end up like those endless Hallmark christmas movies? I could watch the Vanessa Hudgens switch once, but not twice. 😆

Straight up brag for a second: Last weekend I was slumped, exhausted, on the couch, guiltily watching my husband get dinner started. I started up, asking if I could help with anything and what I should be doing. He said, "Hmm, is there a drama episode you wanted to catch up on? You should do that."

And there you have it folks. Yellow umbrellas are adorable and pulling someone out of the way of a scooter is great and seeing a person in slow motion as they come out of a dressing room is fun, but get you someone who makes you dinner so you have time to finish that kdrama episode. My heart was fluttering hard.

I thought I wrote this somewhere else but I didn't see it in my comments.

I don't understand why people don't seem to use the hangouts more. I am somewhat guilty of this (as shown that I only had one comment on the Brain Works hangout) but for me, (A) it was just somewhat more convenient for me to write my weekly thoughts in the WWW page (B) I forget about the hangout even exists cause I don't typically go through tags (C) I didn't care or think about the show enough to search out the hangout (D) I'm always worried about spoilers which annoys me because then I have to think about how to filter my thoughts and be vague. I was told it's really okay to say spoilers but ugh, people's sensitivities to it has become somewhat ingrained in me that I just don't talk about things unless it's obsessively running in my head like a loop.

But other people seem to have really liked and enjoyed it and if memory serves, it was a successful show during its intial run and apparently people are also discovering/rediscovering it. This again made me wonder why people don't write about it more in the hangout.

A similar thing happened with Taxi Driver 2. That was a highly watched and popular show and yet I think it only had like maybe 3 or 4 regular commenters. The Worst of Evil is probably going through a similar thing.

Selfishly, I wanted people to talk about The Worst of Evil so I wouldn't have to watch it haha. I want to know what happens but ugh

I feel like the weekender Hangouts get more attention--I mean, as evidence for my claim, the powers-that-be have made short weekly posts for Live Your Own Ha Joon Life because of the popularity of the Hangout for the previous (roundly panned, even) weekender.

...but I, myself, put a lot of this success (if it can be called that?) on the attention and charisma of @oldlawyer who is a contributor that the Beanatariat all trust to have his eyes on those posts and we know that he will always be there with a comment and an explanation (if one is requested!!). So, it's like "someone's home."

In the main, I've noticed that if folks don't think that any one person--or any small-ish group of Beanies--is actually paying attention to the Hangout (or even to the weecaps, like recently with Miraculous Brothers) then it's far, FAR less likely to have a commentary community.

And I get it--no one wants to shout into the void here. We're here for conversation, not grandstanding! That's one of the most amazing parts of the Dramabeans community...

Thank you for the recognition.

It seems to me that a contributing factor to the Weekender community's popularity is simply the nature of Weekender's themselves: They are longer and involve more characters. So, there is more to talk about plus people can literally get into the habit of going there. In addition, the actual audience is usually larger to begin with.

Hangouts for Weekenders are actually a new thing and still experimental: The three hangouts for the previous Weekender were the first time it had been done. The new format is a response to that: When you go over two hundred comments things simply get unwieldy. Hence the new experiment: Weekly Microcaps for a hangout.

I actually enjoy sharing my love of Weekenders- even if I have not loved every Weekender- and I gain a lot of information and insights from the comments of others. Which is the whole point to the Dramabeans community.

It also seems to me that sometimes the later posts in a hangout are more thoughtful precisely because the commentator has had more time to mull things over. That is why it is not a chore or burden to keep going back.

I think that's a really good point about having "someone home" in the drama chats. I've been really enjoying The Killing Vote and tend to comment after every episode, so I definitely visit regularly and sometimes check mid-week just to make sure I didn't miss anything new. I guess what I'm saying is, I hope it's clear to Beanies that there is someone "home" in that hangout! But it's also my first drama that I'm following through hangouts, so I'm still figuring out the rhythm of it. I've also been inviting people to join us in the hangout whenever I see someone post about it on the fanwall, so we are a small but (I think?) growing group!

I find that (especially for dramas that have been airing fooorever like TKV) it's easier for me to go the the "Dramas" tab up at the top and find the drama that way, then the hangout is generally the first link, in case that's helpful to anyone.

Apart from hangout pages not being easily accessible, I think one important reason is that the www threads are the surest place to be seen because they have lots of traffic over 2 days, and your post is a lot more likely to be read amd answered by beanies who have liked it. And I guess many people prefer to have their "drama hangout" weekly in one place instead of having to navigate around the site for individual ones.

From my own point of view, as a beanie who only binge watches after the shows end, www threads are far more reliable than recaps/hangouts/fanwalls, or anywhere that people can post immediately, or in the heat of many contrary or likeminded comments.
In www threads beanies emotions have either calmed down over the week, or they are trying to keep things short because they have many shows they want to write about. Those cooled week-by-week reviews are incredibly useful to me, a lot more than passionate comments anywhere else, or drama reviews trying to avoid spoilers and give a general opinion on 16 hours in one paragraph.

First, I think one point of saying something on DB is that we expect it would result in interactions with other beanies. So if there’s a recap each week, the recapper initiates the discussion for us and we know we can expect it each week until the show ends; whereas the hangout thread is kind of just floating there, where what we say may not be heard, let alone reciprocated, which discourages users from using it.

I have no idea how shows are picked to be recapped on DB. Maybe it’s purely by the recappers’ preferences, or by some prediction about beanies’ engagement in the shows (basing on the genre, main actors, …), and whatever the criteria are, I think it’s fair. So if a show I like is not being recapped, then “good luck” to myself next time.

Some shows are not lucky enough to have recap threads but are still lucky enough to attract a lot of discussions and I think several factors contribute to that, such as the timing, subject matter, actors… Confession (2019) didn’t have recaps from ep2, but ep1 recap (then used as its hangout place) had nearly 900 comments. I don’t know what the situation was then, but right now, I think there’re too many shows ongoing and it’s very easy for a viewer to lose interest in following a show until the end.

Taxi driver (both seasons) were very popular elsewhere, but not here on DB (to my knowledge). I loved both seasons, I watched each season 3 times (Ok, mainly because I was obsessed with LJH, not that I couldn’t see the shows’ problems) and had to go to reddit for the discussions. Reddit discussions were interesting, but I couldn’t help thinking what it could have been if it had been more popular on DB.

I’m not a live-watcher so most of the time, apart from feeling thankful to my fellow beanies’ inputs, I usually feel a little guilty that I don’t have much to contribute ☺️

I only talk about dramas here so if things aren't covered or discussed, it's immensely disappointing. I don't even know other places people have engaged conversations.

So sometimes I just end up writing a comment, say on Viki's discussion page, and that's it. I know it won't (likely) get any attention but I just put the thought out there.

The subreddit for k-dramas is pretty active and well-managed. So if you want to discuss live shows that aren't being recapped here, you'd be able to find episode threads there and usually have good discussions.

As one who don't like to write www 😄 I use drama hangout for single drop Netflix dramas if I have things to say, and I use weekly recaps for once a week dramas. If the dramas don't get space here, I just use my Twitter to record the dramas I watch.

Sorry, what are the www threads?

My go-to is the Episode Recap. I normally do not live watch, or at least I start late. A lot of times I'm a few months or even years late. Like I'm just on My Dearest 1. The episode recaps continue to feel current to me and I still feel like I'm still watching with the beanies.

Also, considering how slow this website (not even talking about the frequent crashing), it's so much easier to find the recaps via Google than searching within Dramabeans. It's harder to find the hangouts and fan wall.

For me, Netflix originals hangouts are a no go. As all the episodes are released, everyone is on a different schedule, some might of watched all the episodes already while others haven’t. So not to be spoiled I usually stay away. Now I don’t mind spoilers that much when it’s airing the usual two episodes weekly. As it doesn’t spoil the whole show only the current week’s episodes. I happily spoiled myself for the ending of HEARTBEAT and I’m grateful that I escaped the feeling of frustration and confusion about the finale.

Reviews and opinions hit harder too when it’s for Netflix originals. My assumption is that most have finished the drama, so reading beanies thoughts hold more gravity as it’s about the show as a whole rather the first couple of episodes. For example I still haven’t watched DP season 2 because of this.

I vastly prefer WWW as most will either bold or capitalise the title of the show and some will include the episodes their referring to as well. This helps me quickly glance and choose whether to skip or read a beanie’s comment about a particular drama

She was a bully when she was 12? She shouldn't be working now, she should be making public apologies and reflecting. The guy likes certain instagram posts? What?! He shouldn't be liking those posts! What about his image! They got divorced? Who is at fault? We have to choose a side. He married a foreigner? He's just using her. Etc) and if it's good stuff, people feel the need to speculate and comment on it. (how they're getting married? I wonder what the wedding will be like? They should have this type of wedding? I wonder when they'll have kids. They should have kids in like a year. I wonder what type of husband, wife, parent they are. Aww, they're so cute. They make me believe in love. Etc )

Honestly, objectively, it doesn't seem like it should be *that* hard to just be a good or decent person who does only the "right" things but the scrutiny people are constantly under is so overwhelming to me.

I would rather just see entertainers through their professional projects.

I think I'm similar. At the end of the day, it's just a job and they're regular people like anyone else.

Even if I hear or read about some "scandal" like saying or doing something inappropriate I don't usually care. They just make mistakes and have flaws like anyone else. They just need to learn from it.

I just care when I hear a really horrible news, something that for me crosses the line. Then I start ignoring them and their careers for my own mental peace.

I'm not immune to being affected by knowing celebrities' personal lives and it affecting me. During Black Knight, knowing the lead actor had some nose/throat cancer made the scenes when he was smoking really weird for me. I later learned they apparently used CGI for the smoke but still, I couldn't escape thinking maybe he shouldn't have taken a role where this was requirement for an accurate depiction of the character.

When I realized Kokdu was the actor was involved in the Seo Ye Ji thing, I did think of him that way for a bit. Not so much what he did but that "he was the guy who was involved with Seo Ye Ji".

I could name other examples but why haha
I don't want to influence or affect other people's enjoyment/perception of things.

But yeah, I wish I could just see the entertainers through their projects and not have to know anything about

I understand.
I hope you find something that will help you feel more comfortable with it. Maybe maybe some kind of preparation before watching a new show could help?

I just saw Park Min Young was cast in the adaptation of Marry My Husband?!
Wow, I was not seeing her in that type of role since it first features a mistreated and sickly woman. Now I'm tempted to see who the rest of the cast is.

I don't know enough actors to say who I thought was a good fit for the roles but she didn't come to mind.

Maybe I thought it would be similar to the casting for Perfect Marriage (Revenge). I only recognized 1 actor in that haha

And does he capture the vibe of the webtoon character to me (based on the little that I've seen)? Hmmm
It wouldn't be fair to speculate at this stage; I mean who would've thought the lead in Weak Hero Class 1 was a great fit for the role before seeing him actually do it.

I remember someone once commented that Park Min-young doesn't so much 'act' as she plays a gracious hostess in her roles. She puts up a pleasant false facade that hides what's going on inside. You see the same facade and same expression no matter what role she's playing ('Healer' excepted).

Just coming by to thank everyone behind the scenes here at DB who is working hard to keep the site moving smoothly. This was a rough week and I’m very grateful that the pagination changes were quickly recognized as not working and changed back. And thanks to @attiton for keeping Beanies aware of what was going on, that was very helpful!

Gosh, thanks, @bbstl but I think we miiiiight should probably leave it to @missvictrix to decide how helpful I actually was ;)

It was a rough time, indeed...a very different kind of rough from that day that the site went down altogether. Like everything was possibly in reach? Only not?

Running websites can be thankless. I know that for sure. But we do appreciate you folks back there, even those beyond the names we see all the time, whoever you might be!

Dramabeans is the best corner of the internet of all all all.

I started visiting DB when I was still undergraduate student, I'm still here when I finished my post graduate and I wish the site still here when I am older. I like it because DB feels like an antique book club, when eveything is not fast paced. I don't understand why everything has to be fast and instant, tik tok, shorter youtube videos, instant food, shorter and fewer episode dramas, fast fashion. Can we just take it slow? Where are we going exactly that have to move so fast?

Danger Alert ⚠️

Dear Beanies this is a PSA for all. 📢

We have been getting some bots who are copying comments by other Beanies.
They are doing this to avoid detection.
Then they posted their spam message in seven different threads.

In case you spot a spam message / advertisement / link to any random website on any thread or fanwall please reply to that message with @db-staff.

This will alert DB to delete that message.

We need help from all Beanies to keep our special place on the internet safe.

Thank you!!

Thanks for sending this out as it was stealth attack across several recent posts they added a picture too to try to make it seem more realistic.
They did the copy and paste from the post above and only a small section of the post so it was harder to spot. The best way to check them out is to click on their name and look at all their comments or fan wall posts then you could see all 7 posts some just with the ads and that it was spread across multiple posts so it was easy to spot the issue but the copy and paste on it’s own could have easily gone under the radar if you only saw it as an isolated post on the beanie tab.

We had a second attack yesterday, again it was 7 comments scattered across different recent posts. Unfortunately, I couldn’t support the shut down as the site was freezing on me. However, I became aware because they are hiding in threads so the notification came to me. So please check out your replies from unknown names just in case it’s one of them.

I did have a ghost notification few hours ago that led nowhere.
Would it be useful to note down the names of the accounts from which the spam messages are generated.

Once the accounts are closed they don’t come back with the same name.

I think this new style of spamming is the same company coming in with different products two days in a row but using the same M.O. is too much of a coincidence.

I think the ghost notifications of a reply with no name and the link leads nowhere are something else. I had them start appearing a couple of days ago too. I notified DB via the email so hopefully if we all do that they can get an idea of times, frequency and who is getting targeted.

This spamming seven threads is so weird.

I don’t get why they are putting so much effort into creating these accounts and using sly methods as if anyone on here would be their target audience. Even if we were interested in the random product, why we would go with a company that uses rogue means to get our attention?!

It’s rare these days that any English production can tempt me away from a k drama but do yourselves a favor and watch The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix. It’s the best show I’ve watched on Netflix for a long while.

I will also say that the movie "Love at First Sight" on Netflix was as short and sweet as other beanies who had recommended it. I also recommend this.

For years now its been predicted that exposure to K-drama formula would change the nature of American dramas. I wonder if its finally starting to happen.

I talked about this on my fan wall but I just want to say again what a great time I had at Super Junior D&E’s DElight Party show in Auckland. I was so surprised they decided to come here but I’m glad they did! It was sparkly! And dancey! And fun! We were super close and it was kind of intimidating 😄 but awesome. Highly recommended. If they’re coming near you (which they might be - they’re in Melbourne tonight, Sydney tomorrow; Mexico and Canada are coming up and I don’t know where else), you should go!

Yet another thing in Korea I'm interested/curious about is the waterbomb festival thing

I've never even heard of such a thing

I know I'm randomly mentioning it but I thought of what I would want to do in SK and it was the amusepark (cause I've seen them on variety shows like busted & MITH) and the waterbomb thing cause I don't know what that is

I’ve never heard of the water bomb thing but there’s a mud festival in Boryeong:

It may have its roots in American bar wet t-shirt contests, which filmmaker Dick Barrymore claimed to have hosted the first wet T-shirt contest as part of a 1971 promotional event for K2 skis.

Korean waterbomb is a water guns and k-pop music festival in one. In between intervals of big artist coming to the stage, you also get music's from famous DJs and water blasts to the audience! Also during intervals, everyone goes to the water refill station to fill up their water gun tanks. Also female performers often get wet on stage as many critics call the event sexist.

I haven't played with a watergun since I was a kid so I think there's a touch of nostalgia factor.

I'm still kinda surprised such an event happens.

So the Hangout with Yoo cameos were edited out after backlash. I'm surprised about this on multiple levels.

Only Jae Seok and HaHa were able to make it in and everyone just got cut because a number of viewers were upset some levity was featured in such a serious show?

It's always weird to watch something and then rewatch it and discover its been reedited to take something out. Granted, this seems to be a bit different since apparently Jae Seok & HaHa were in one episode and the rest of the cast was in another episode and that's the one that got the edits. Apparently only one cast member's voice can be heard in the background.

I'm also surprised Jae Seok would receive backlash of any sort (though technically this backlash would probably count more towards the director/production than on Jae Seok & his team) though I did also just learn Hangout with Yoo is struggling with ratings. Again, surprising. I thought he was considered like a golden touch in the variety/entertainment world.
