Don’t ask me why, because I have no reason, but I enjoyed every single messy minute on The impossible heir, possibly because almost everything was impossible, not only the heir.

It will be complicated to have a better mess this year, at least that I enjoy this much, so I thought about a Roundup category: “Favorite mess”, whether it’s an episode, a character, a plot or a whole drama (I think TIH fits every possible option!!).

Thoughts?

I hope Lee Jae-Wook has a better end of the year because between the dating news and break-up and this very bad drama, he wasn’t very lucky.

What! They broke up? I just came to know about their dating a few weeks back 😅

Yep, crazy fans were too much, I guess.

Kpop fans are crazy, the fact that she had to write an apology letter was too much!

It’s easy for me to give advice from outside that insane fan culture, but I wish she had simply ignored it, rather than apologize – and the apology letter itself was a dreadful mistake, groveling and humiliating herself and making it sound like the criticism was legitimate and deserved instead of the batsh*t craziness it really is. Sigh. I wish everyone would just leave everyone’s private life ALONE. And that agencies would support their artists instead of forcing them into little boxes marked ‘perfect.’ And that LJW would get a better drama next time, of course.

Is the case of Ahn Bo Hyun and Jisoo the same? Just a few weeks after their confirmation of relationship, they broke up.

A lot of couple breaks up after it was made public. I don’t think Jisoo’s fans were as much crazy. Karina’s fans sent a protesting truck because they were against.

There was the fact that a lot of people thought Karina was gay and they were disapointed…

@kurama wow they are so delusional if they want someone to be gay and then become disappointed when the person aren’t.

@mmmmm She still can be bi, but in any case, it’s her life and she shouldn’t justify her choices because some people made fanfictions in their head…

@kurama this is insane! Protest truck??? wow. The agency’s need to step up and protect their artists. Of course they won’t.
they both are young. Hopefully they find happiness soon.

    I like this category!
It’s fun to watch a messy show once in a while.

I haven’t watched the last two episodes yet, but yep, I’m with you – I’ve enjoyed it all, but probably not the way the show wanted me to. 🤣

Here’s a vote for the Best Mess categories to be included in the Round-up! It will be hard for anything to top this, although a couple of shows have certainly tried hard.

If only the show knew what he wanted… I have finished it and I still don’t know what was the reason for Taeho or Inha to behave the way they did.

I’m new to the Roundup, so allow me to ask this so that I can prepare for this year end: What should fall into “Guilty pleasure”?

I did not start the drama because it seemed way too tropey and the love triangle really put me off, despite having two of my favourite oppas. I am just sad these that both boys were involved in this bad drama, especially since they have the acting chops and have chosen better dramas in the past. I just hope they pick better projects going forward

It’s really sad to see these good actors trying to do something good about it and failing. Lee Jae Wook looked lost all the time, and Jun was all over the top during the second half of the drama (well, his character was, so). And don’t get me started with female lead. Mani, you may think I’m exaggerating but I think you know who has a successor. Go figure!
