First post on my fan wall, and I’m confused. I only get 200 characters, but other people are able to make much longer posts. Is that just something you earn after so much interaction on the site?
Nah we just learnt the shortcuts.
If you want to post more than 200 characters, type it somewhere else and then copy and paste it into your post box. This bypasses the character limit. On laptop be sure to use right click and paste, NOT ctrl v or it won’t work.
However I recommend you don’t go too much over 7000 characters or you may break db and then mary will cry.
Sort of. I did kinda break dramabeans with my The Crowned Clown finale post. Which wasn’t even the most I’ve posted in a fan wall post before but I guess it was the final straw.
Mary had to rescue the rest of it and post it in the comments hahaha
(Honestly, that was only 2000 words. It may have been the formatting idk, because my Hundred Million Stars finale was 4000 words and it was fine.
But now I daren’t risk anything over 1k words in a single post *snorts*)

Nah I think the specs actually changed. Pre me breaking DB (woops) you could get by with anything.
Then after that I don’t think it even let me post a huge thing, even when I tried, so you have to break it up. 6000-7000 is the rough limit I discovered.
Poor Mary as to suffer so much because of me.
And how would you suppose I, in a Coconut Melona DROUGHT do THAT.
I would gladly send someone ice cream from half a world away if I weren’t a)broke and b)if I actually had them…
