#myDearest ep4
Omg what was that? A scene out of romcoms among the saguk pain and fear and war asdffghjjj…. I can’t! It was sooooo good!
This drama is BEAUTIFUL. I love all the shots.

Song of the bandits or my dearest?
Which one should I watch for my next kdrama after moving?

Song of bandits is more fun and focused on action.

My Dearest is deeper and more focused on history.

I much prefer My Dearest. I think it’s better in everything.
But if you really like action, and shootings… and Kill Bill, then you will enjoy Song of the bandits.

My Dearest! You will finish Part 1 just in time for Part 2.

Watching #because this is my first life rn
I really liked how show chose marriage over just love relationships and tried to show why ppl at the end need to marry, but we just saw 2 married couple briefly other than Sehee_ Jihyo and they were nightmares (sehee & jihyo parents…. I refuse to address jihyo\’s little brother they weren\’t more than 5 minutes on screen)
and after ep 13 jihyo started acting all wired ep 14& 15 completely consisted of ppl sitting at different tables and saying the most complicated and meaningless dialogues, then someone would say\”oh sorry I\’m talking nonsense.\” Because YES YOU ARE but the other character would say \”oh no don\’t say that, I totally understand what you wanna say\” NO WRITERNIM WE DON\’T UNDERSTAND!
jihyo was in love with Sehee, she said she is waiting to receive his feelings and the ex gf was a mature cool girl and she said everything is fine, and jihyo found out ab Sehee\’s future proposal but suddenly she became all cold.
I really loved this show, all 3 girls stories were really touching (especially sooji), yes there were all kind of cliché positions but characters really faced those clichés with maturity and right feelings, but suddenly we got to ep 13 and writer doesn\’t know what to do with the 3 ending eps, I think she/he was so tired & just wanted to finish all of it however she/he can.
I didn\’t watch final ep I was so angry with 2 eps of long discussions and wired behaviour of jihyo
I thought I\’m watching a drama that admires or at least sees the beauties of married couples world, sth that overshadowed in kdramaworld
( 70 percent of couples have the most toxic relationships ever, and low-key hate each other in kdrama land , even if you see a happy couple they\’re likely grandparents) but the show suddenly became an anti of its first idea.
I will rate this drama 8/10
because I really enjoyed it till ep 13 (there were some clichés that they could avoid them but It\’s still OK) and the draggy meaningless 3 final eps ( I just watched 2 tho) that I pretend they didn\’t happen.

Uh oh … I had just downloaded the drama for a rewatch!

Oh you know that was a good drama overall, but I think writer couldn’t find a good ending and inserted some unnecessary twists so it can be a 16 ep drama
I hope you enjoy your rematch 😅

Now I’m conflicted reading your post – should I rewatch (putting good use to ffwd) as per my original plan or skip and watch the two C-dramas which seem to be getting a love of Beanie love
Fake it till you make it and Hidden Love.

If I were you I would watch a new drama maybe you find sth that make it to your fave list
But I should say again this drama was a sweet one, but the ending was meh

            Thanks.

If we were to list dramas where endings were meh it would probably be 99% of our dramas.
You are right we should not let our enjoyment of dramas be affected by this and just enjoy the sweet moment.

Have you read Jane Eyre? It helps me to think of the ending as like the one in that novel. She had to be with him on her own terms, not because she was reliant on him

Because This is My First Life? 🙂

Into the Ring might also fit the bill! It has politics but the politics are very very light.

I’m watching Would You Like A Cup of Coffee now! Very calm show – might consider it ‘slow’ depending on the mood you’re in but I’m finding the slow pace peaceful at the moment!!

I am a total fan of ” the weather is fine” & ” call it love” and many considered those “slow” so I think I would like it ♥️

I approve of Nobody Knows (rewatched it 3 times and never disappointed) and Gaus Electronics.

About Gaus Electronics, episode 1 takes quite a bit of will power and patience to pass, but it greatly improves from ep 2 onward.

I, in contrast, gaffawed through the first 2 episodes until I cried, it was that funny.
