Beanie level: The Goblin’s underpants

Still ship this for reals. Just look at them.

I don’t ship actors, but I do agree that they worked so well together in Tale of Nokdu. They had good chemistry.

Me neither I mostly ship characters but these two are just great together.

I just have to say Kim so-hyun was very good in this role.

    She’s always good!

True but I especially loved her in Love Alarm. I felt a new maturity in her acting with this role and she carried it over to her Tale of Nokdu role too.

I’m just waiting to see her in a new drama. A fun, youthful drama with short hair if possible.

Short hair Kim so-hyun in a college drama. Please.

I’m on this ship. How soon is too soon for a reunion? 2020 is already here.

Nope not getting over them.

Most disastrous wedding award goes to. Laughed my way through this entire sequence.

It was Dongju to the rescue this week. I loved every bit of it.

She was awesome. Caught me a little by surprise I admit. But it was so good.

I like it when female leads give back hugs to the male leads instead of the other way round. I am loving the straight forward character of Dongju a lot.

Never have I felt so strongly about an OTP. The chemistry is so natural and beautiful. If this drama does not have a happy ending for these two there will be words. Not pleasant ones.

How this drama makes me swoon.

I love how she just went for the second kiss. This is my favorite kiss scene from Kim so-hyun. I also thought the cinematography for the entire scene was well done. The lighting and angles were good.

Can you hear me screaming? The kiss scene spam we all need.

Nokdu-Dongju spam because I’m obsessed.

Tale of Nokdu is getting darker in the best possible way. We are definitely not in rom-com territory anymore.

Had it not for the blood on his face and collar, I’d say he is the silly male lead. Lol.

Even without the blood that smile at the end scared me. Kang tae-oh is good.

I’m getting whiplash from the sudden change of genre.

I was kind of hoping it would go this way.

Definitely! My interest in the drama was kind of waning to be honest, but its suddenly back at 100%.

I wasn’t expecting it go this way at all but I’m glad it did.

I was surprised that I didn’t find the tonal shift jarring. It was sudden but not forced. I don’t know if that makes sense.

It does. It wasn’t jarring, just sudden. I think particularly because of the way the episodes broke – it should have been ep 6 where we make that shift at the very end, then a week in between. But instead, we had ep 6, then ep 7 immediately. So there was a gap between nice Kang Tae-oh and…evil Kang Tae-oh. Instead of there being a shocking reveal at the end of a week.

Might be. The cancellation might have been a blessing in disguise. Imagine having that ending from episode 6 immediately after that kiss from episode 5. I wouldn’t know what to do with myself.

Someone give her a modern era role with this shot haired look. Needs to happen.

Gentle reminder of my undying love for short haired Kim so-hyun.

Are these the last sweet and comic moments we’ll have?
