I’m saving the fully subbed 9-10 episodes of Touch Your Heart/Reach of Sincerity for tonight but gobbled up the Choi/Dan scenes first because I these two just kill me. Especially Dan Moon Hee. It squeezed my heart to watch her trying to resist falling in love with her annoying, handsome colleague.

Here are 8 of my fluttery moments. What were yours?

1. Dumpling Math Att’y Choi ignores societal norms and demands equality at the dinner table. He tells CEO Yeon, “I … will never give up my dumplings to you. It’s too precious for that.”

    2. Dan decline’s her boss’s challenge to put Choi in his place. Choi actually looks eager for the challenge. But she can’t do it. “When did I … loathe him?”

    3. Stuffing your face with salad is pretty much all one can do when your crush is sitting across from you at lunch. I feel you, Att’y Dan. Fighting!

    4. Att’y Dan desperately wants something get away from her “distractions” and wonders if learning ukulele with a new friend would help. Att’y Choi offers to sell Dan a ukulele he’s not using. He has a ukulele, people. And probably more than one. Dan laments, ”I can’t keep getting involved with him.”

    5. Dan and Choi run into each other at the office that Saturday. Is it fate? Dan tries to keep it together.
    Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Park Kyung Hye’s face? She’s a walking cartoon GIF.

    6. Choi plays his ukulele for Dan. Aaaaand …. we’re done. Resistance is futile.

    He hums a few bars of “Moon River.” [see Audrey Hepburn sing it in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.]

    And Dan is done for. (I’m half-way in love with her myself, watching her fall in love with her frenemy.)

    7. Posture lessons. I would freak out if my ukulele teacher every touched me. But this is a drama and I squeeeeeeeed though this whole scene.

      These actors are killing every scene. I think all the viewers fell in love with both actors throughout this sequence. Hearts fluttered all over Viki, for sure, mine included.

        Will check that out! I normally don’t read Viki comments, but I want to bask in as much Dan-Choi love as possible.

      I don’t even think the writers planned on making them the second couple – the other lawyer couple would be the second leads I thought- but they are killing it!!! I don’t know if the entire drama is already shot or not but it feels like they are getting all the attention because we LOVE them!!!

    8. Her rooftop declaration of her desire to love Att’y Choi. Which god was she talking to? If she’s asking the drama gods, there’s a good chance her wish will be granted.

      You know, I really expected Choi to end up on that roof just as she made that declaration. You know what, I’m not going to rule a flashback with him there out.

        Hee hee, that would kind of sweet. I really hope we get to see more of their interactions from Choi’s point of view. After his heroic intervention with the trashy café guy, he’s been very … relaxed around her. At this point, it feels like he likes being teased by her but doesn’t yet “see her as a woman” as they say in the hetero dramas.

          I do see him seeing her. Just some bits from episode one. He is definitely curious about her reactions.

            Excellent point, @mayhemf! “Curious” is just the right word. I see it here in Ep. 8 27:17, when Choi teases Dan about being excited about the interns and liking attractive men. Not shown in the GIF: He took a long look at the photo of her “boyfriend.”

    The ukulele and rooftop scenes had me in stitches haha. I love these two 💕 And Attorney Dan is a master at hilarious expressions.
