I could write essays and essays, but one moment that made me cry like a baby:

Dad: From now on, you will be telling that to yourself in the mirror, every day in my place. What did I say?
GR: “Excellent job”
Dad: That’s right, excellent job, my son. Who’s the coolest person in the world?
GR: Han Jeong-u’s son, Han Geu-ru!

If we all took a moment everyday to say this to our own souls, maybe we too can comfort our crying hearts and find peace within ourselves, even if it is just for a split second…

      Yess he is! And he is absolutely magnificent as the father!!
      Always loved him as an actor but in this role he made me both cry and laugh like no other

    Both the parents were so aspirational. I really liked them.

      Aw 1000% yes! I was a bit sad that the mum wasn’t shown as much at the start but even that small screen time at the end made such an emotional impact!
      They both represent just how selfless and endearing and loving parents can be and allowed us as the viewers to also experience that, even if some of us didn’t have the fortune of experiencing it ourselves

Haven’t posted in around 2 years (I hope all Beanies have been keeping safe and well during these difficult times <3!) but that one, beautiful scene cried out to me and I had to post, even if I don’t again, for its appreciation.
The build-up. The music. The cinematography. The acting. It punched me in the guts and bled me dry of all my tears because that was pure perfection.
Having been on COVID wards since the beginning, and seeing the many elderly patients fighting not only against the time they have left, but also against their fleeting memories, it broke me seeing that they didn’t have the chance to pursue their dreams like our Doek-Chul Harabeoji and instead lost out before they could even begin.
I’ve come to realise the hard way that I may not be able to save each and everyone, be it now or even when I qualify, but if I can be someones Chae-Rok, even if it’s for a split-second, I will count my blessings and only look forwards.
That perfection of a scene has now changed the way I will fondly look at snow, and I cannot thank the show enough…

      It’s simply crazy how much of an affect art can have on a person, no matter what medium it is portrayed through, and that simple, yet hauntingly perfect scene is an example of that.

Back from my holiday (so didn’t want to leave Barca :'( *cue tears* ) and having watched the first 2 episodes, 100 Days My Prince is love <3 The twist, the characters, the music, the cinematography, everything is perfect and I am so so happy!!!
Cannot wait for the amnesia arc thou! KS is going to kill it as the fool 😛

    Perhaps he’s just being saved for some big plot reveal (hehehe). But I do like that we also don’t have to see a whole lot of Tae Rin as she sucks all the joy out of the drama when she is on the screen. I really don’t care that she has a pushy mom and is jealous of anyone with more talent. Perhaps she can team up with Hyeong Tae and also go missing.

      LOOOL preach! TR is just so self-absorbed that I wish she took her violin and jealous antics somewhere else. Yeah HT will probably come for the reveal but poor guy is pretty much just a plot device now 😛

My heart fluttered like crazy during this scene <3 I loved the reversal of SR seeing WJ intense stare in the reflection. This couple is sooo heart-fluttering!
I think I’m in love having binged watched 9 episodes in less than a day O_O NO REGRETS!
