      NOT what I was expecting. Ep 2 clarifies things a bit. And oh man when it comes to the singing… I didn’t know I could laugh while cringing so hard. I’ve been looking forward to seeing Yeo Woo-jin I haven’t been caught by his dramas since Marriage Not Dating.

        I dont think I’ve seen him in anything before. I’m only familiar with the FL and wouldn’t mind if they let her sing. His singing is horrible but he was so into it, lol.

          He had to work to be That bad. I first saw him in Arang and the Magistrate. Hes one of the actors I dont find particularly attractive but am in love with by the end of the drama at least that’s how it was with Marriage Not Dating. There is one scene whene he is on the phone with his mom… just wrung the tears out of me

    I actually appreciate so, so much the gentle, chivalrous, and gentleman that he actually is ☺️☺️ Before they started dating, every time she went to go find him, he still made sure she was cared for and always made sure a K & K member made arrangements to have her be taken home/back to her hotel safely. After they began dating, he’d always be the one to care for her, made sure she was ok, fed her, and let her rest without disturbances 🥰🥰🥰

      Who would have thought (certainly not me) that after cringing through the first few episodes that I would be completely gone on these two, they are a lovely couple and I’ve been enjoying it so much. And I agree he is a very sweet character I can see why this show has become so popular I can see myself rewatching alot of it over and over.

        Yea, the flashbacks were find until the midway point, because I understand that it was needed to give context and background, but I found myself FF through the flashbacks after a certain episode

      Yup he is tsundere done right. He did talk harshly to her once or twice but even at those times made sure tgat she wasn’t scared of him or hurt because of his words. He did not act like a jerk since their first meeting just emotionally closed.

        Right. In Guangzhou, their second meet, he fed her, asked his boys to sit at their table so she wouldn’t feel awkward, and walked her to a cab that would take her back to the hotel.

        The only time I remember him being downright nasty to a stranger was during that matchmaking with Nian Nian’s cousin. And that was purely because she was condescending! She deserved that.

          Yeah. I think he shows alot of restraint. I mean that Buff guy was sooo obnoxious but he didn’t even put him in his place. It’s nice knowing that Li Xian is getting so much credit for this role. He’s put alot of humor in what would otherwise be a humorless character
          I’d like to see him in other things but I’m awfully attached to these two characters as a couple

            Lol I know what you mean Nd how you feel when you say that you feel really attached to them as a couple. Before “Go Go Squid”, the Last Yang Zi drama I watched was “Ashes Of Love” and I was obsessed—OBSSESSED— with her coupling with Deng Lun I that drama and REFUSED to move on from them as an OTP, and that pairing will forever have a special soft spot in my heart and in my Star Pocket, but I’m fully moved onto the Yan Zi/ Li Xian pairing now after “Go Go Squid” 😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰

          Now I’m nearing the end I’m slowing way down. And starting to look at other dramas Tientsin Mystic is on Netflix. If I wasn’t already watching so many dramas already I’d have probably already started it.

      yes, I was off work these last few days so I started while waiting for Hotel Del Luna subs- which I have yet to watch. lol and I’ll be honest I skipped some of the flashback scenes( I mean A CHICKEN LEG, come on. I’m on ep 18 but I have to work tomorrow, so I’ll have to go back to (pretending) to be an adult. Heh. They make me smile so much, he is so endearing when he let’s his guard down

        Yes, this Sanya competition arc is my most favourite!!! I just loved how he’s like a complete different person with her. He was smiling a lot, having so much time with Squid and all he literally saw was her!!!! He’s soo into her. I smile at every little thing they did in Sanya!!!

        K have fun binging some more! Going back to reality sucks!

        Nope. I don’t like sageuks and he was billed as a “special appearance” or something and not a lead, so… not much interest.

        But also I read Kim Ji-won’s comments about him and watched their interactions at the promos and stuff and I think they’re adorable and would sell my soul for them to reunite in a romcom movie

Reading the latest recap of Angel. Suddenly I can see Ni-na getting the lead and her crazy sister havinging sabotaged the stage expecting Yeon-seo and Kang -woo sacrificing himself to save her. Mm

I think it is pretty rich Kang-woo is telling Yeon-seo to move on and not look back and have regrets when his whole life has been revolving around a promise made to a woman thats been dead 15 years
