Premiere Watch: Mask Girl

Reasons to watch: Dark, glam, and full of glitter, Netflix’s latest series Mask Girl is definitely eye-catching. Kept pretty tightly under wraps, the drama boasts three different actresses in the title role of Mask Girl/Kim Momi at various points in her life: Go Hyun-jung, Nana, and the rookie actress Lee Han-byeol, whose name (and face) have just been revealed in a rather meta marketing strategy. Our heroine Momi seems disturbed to say the least, with multiple iterations of her identity, her face, and a few murders on her plate to boot. Yeom Hye-ran and Ahn Jae-hong also star as the mother-son duo who have dealings with Momi, and I don’t think that means there’s a wedding and happy smiles at the end of this drama, folks.

TL;DR: Go Hyun-jung, Nana, and a new rookie actress play the eponymous Mask Girl in various iterations of trouble her life
