Beanie level: Eunuch in drag

It is fascinating to read the history and the Joseon concept of three whites, blacks and reds. Like most traditional concepts worldwide, this misunderstanding and mis-application of the original intent and purpose is sad.

An episode of SunSol being cute? No problem. But- Who was ringing the doorbell? Did he jump or was he pushed? Argh, I’m never going to find out!

But it could also have been the obsessed fan 🙂

he died after that.. could not have been the fan

Or if it was, then it was probably a scenario of fan ringing the bell, him opening the door and killer entering.. same as time travel 2.. when killer entered and stabbed him (actually i think that answers your question… the way that timeline played…it would have been the killer)

There is still the theory that some people have that the first time was a suicide or accidental death; I think it probably was the killer, but we will never know for sure!

ok.. i thought suicide theory was debunked early on because for a man who loved Sol so much, he would rather live in the shadows and help her, protect her than committ suicide… he couldn’t sleep and took medicine because he was haunted by the accident and Sol not surviving (had he waked her up in the bus)… but he wasn’t lonely or depressed where he would strive hard to become an idol and then kill himself for no apparent reason

    Had the same thought.

Lovely runner- Was that a time line skip we saw at the end there? One that did not come from Sol?

May I please have a police show with Tae Sung? With Sun Jae making regular guest appearances…

The list is nearly scary for me 😂 I have to go down to around #50 to find my favorites 😂

Surprisingly, on the ball with my top picks although I didn’t post in the top 10 thread.

My Ajusshi, Forest of Secrets 1 & 2, Hospital Playlist 1 & 2, and Reply 1988 are on my own list. The interesting thing is about Hospital Playlist in that I love it but didn’t consider it as a best drama when they came out – but over the years, I realise it is of course a best drama. Who can beat it as a slice of life drama with totally cut through and unforgettable characters. You feel them as your own friends is perhaps the best.

Also pleased to see Life and Life On Mars are in the list, but where is Live?

My bad – Misaeng is in my top picks too.

I’m glad you love HP. I watched both seasons and liked S1 more. Never been a fan of hospital dramas (Life is the exception, and you’d understand why). But I remember clearly how great the show in making me laugh. So if I were to rewatch, most certainly, the subway joke is the one I’d go to. That one is truly hilarious.

I did like HP too. I didn’t mean that I don’t like any of the first 50 dramas. Just that none are in my top 10, or even top 20.

On HP, I was coloured by it being shown at the height of COVID lockdown and the relief it brought – without thinking too much about it as a drama. This may sound non-sensible but, anyway, I do now see through the laughter and characters its value.

Showing my age- It’s way to early for Sol (1992) but very much a high school/Uni song for me. The singer, Angie Hart, moved to California (from Australia, a long way!) and can be seen with her band in a few episodes of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’
