Today, I was on an airplane while watching PMR episode 6. Not a big 747 or anything. A regional jet. We were all right there one on top of another. I squealed once, and then had to hold my fist to my mouth (all makjang) for the entirety of the rest of time the show was on.

So, please accept the following as the, “Y’ALL, I was on an airplane while these things were happening to me” Perfect Marriage Proposal Fan Wall Challenge post.

First off, the above (the least spoiler-y one I have). LOOLXBWAHAHAHA!!! I love this.

Quite a few more, obvs, below.

ON…A…PLAAAANNNNEEEE. The joyful screech of utter surprise I uttered was so loud, I actually muttered an apology to those around me, and my family (seated rows behind me) let me know once we deplaned that they’d heard me…and were hella embarrassed.

And THIS–just one second later–was when I had to put my fist in my mouth to remind my brain to stop with the noises.

There was so much to screech about in this episode!!!! Everything hits with maximum impact, and I love it.

      They were actually CUUUTE together!
      Sadly, it had short life.

Weren’t they??? I almost giffed that cute scene right before this grab-and-kiss where he was all, “You were so cool…when you hurt that guy” and his little face was all adorbs (it was!!! Like I didn’t want to PUNCH it at ALL!!!), and she was all, “You were sorta cute too, oppa…” But that wasn’t what made me bite my fist on the plane from trying not to shout.

Now, when @seeker asks…who’s pregnant first, though (between the two sisters), I’m looking forward to the moment when we learn that our little wicked half-sister is pregnant, but not with the child bat-ears villain half-brother, but WITH A PUNCHABLE-FACED BABY!!!

It started already with Why are you blushing…

For a moment, I stopped seeing them as the drama villains… and for a second I could even believe in their happy future, he would endlessly adore her and she would always feel like a queen… oh well.

Could you imagine a show where both of these characters are rehabilitated? And they get an HEA of their own, having realized the errors of their ways???? 🥰😍💓

I’d just forever be indebted to this glorious, glorious drama.

Or whenever Yura has an evil plan she by chance meets Pathetic Ex and they end up doing something else . 😁

I doubt it would’ve ever worked, evil mum would never let that happen.

Btw, I still somehow hope that uri sensitive BIL will beat both sisters and win the baby race. 🙂

Will that child come out needing a haircut? Or will it come out with a pink curler in its hair?? I wanna know!

ON…A…SMALL…AIRPLANE. Foreplay part ONE because little did I know that I should have saved my glee for….

THWACK! Damn. Did I mention that I had to quick figure out how to keep it together because I was on an airplane??

I found that remote control scene funny, he is such a tease. 😄

She held her own, though, wouldn’t you say? Between this shove and her saying, “I can’t return your affection, but am willing to ‘not think’ for a while with you?”

I can’t publish my reply to her about what to do to stop thinking 😆😆

“Can’t?” Or won’t?? The spam filter on this site is notoriously more worried about Sp0ngeBob than anything remotely sexual. It’s true.

I wonder what spongeb@b ever did to DB.

2nd attempt btw, they really did mark SB as inappropriate!

He is such a tease!! He worked hard to get laid. So happy for him. 😅

There’s no reason we shouldn’t be rewarding such effortful behavior! He works hard, ya know, and so, good on him!

I am sure the trip was made a little less trite by hearing supressed squeals from somewhere on the plane: Someone was not bored.

Oh, I’m not on the plane any longer…they kicked me off!!!

Joking, not joking. My family was really embarrassed.

Last one in this planned series, but in NO way the least…Y’ALLIWASONASMALLAIRPLANE.

It was when the watch went flying through the air that I completely, COMPLETELY lost my cool.

PS: Not super thrilled with the lines given to our characters at the end of this sexytimes scene…but since I HAD TO DO SOME SKIPPING AFTER THE WATCH WENT FLYING BECAUSE PEOPLE HAD STARTED STARING, I only heard them at home.

I know, I know, it’s the genre, but still. They could have returned back to the “How’s that not thinking thing going,” and I would have been happier.

So…many…more…gifs…could be made. This was a delightful episode, just the best yet.

I’m laughing thinking about you watching this on a small plane 😂 I hope you have safe travels with your family!

WHAT AN EPISODE. Perfection. I love that we’ve gotten more in 6 episodes than most dramas do in 12! At the wedding, I loved the weeping brother-in-law secretary, hot glasses secretary sitting at a table just like any other high society guest (WHO IS HE??), and witchy stepsister showing up in a WEDDING DRESS. What self confidence 👏👏👏

That scene of your gif (the ex-boyfriend alone in the bar) has been my favorite in these two episodes. Why? Because it suddenly reminded me I was watching something set in Korea. That table, that soju, these chairs, that wall… Oh, it’s true, this is a Korean show! Because watching everything else, this drama could be Spanish, could be Turkish, could be Mexican, could be from South America, could be from USA…

Good point! I could see this show having huge cross-cultural appeal.

Totally. And maybe that’s why I don’t find it so hooking and appealing as the rest of beanies.
It reminds me too much of some kind of Western shows I used to watch as a teenager and in my early twenties, but none of them were from Korea (I have been watching k-dramas just for two years. I wish I had known them before).

for me its different.. i have watched countless shows like this.. now not so much.. so when once in a while a good drama of that genre comes up.. its fun..

right now, seven escape is kind of meh .. not riveting.. but this one is fun.. you want to watch these to have and make fun

Then definitely makjang is not my genre, because I find PMR so-so and too similar to Western shows… I have only watched and enjoyed one makjang (King of Baking), because even though it had the worst elements of this genre (villains, secrets, too many misfortunes) it was well directed, had lots of heart, it was touching and endearing in many ways.
