Trust me, I want my dramas to be how they are (that's why I watch them), I need that escapism dose, I want to watch 16 hours of nonsensical relationships, convoluted plots that could be written in a rolling paper, and astonishingly beautiful korean ladies everywhere. But... When I stumble upon oddities like the aforementioned AWL, MISAENG, BAD GUYS... everything changes. Quality in every aspect of the show, cohehence, a free slice of real life in Korea, script over ratings, splendid actors believing their roles. That's a win for me.
Yes, I know that AWL could have been way better, better young actors and better editing, but is like watching the fantastic movie CART (if you didn't saw I and you liked AWL it's a must) mixed with my worst job ever. And it's so close to reality that is scary as hell, and I live in Spain.

On a side note: One day I should tell how I finished hooked in this freaking crazy drama world. Trust me, you won't believe it.

This really makes me want to finish the "incompletes" on my list.

I finished over 25 dramas this year; however, most were older series or Japanese, Taiwanese, or Thai (rather than Kdramas). I "paused" or outright dropped over double that many dramas.

Of the 2015 dramas, I only finished 5. I really was enjoying Healer but ended up "skimming" episodes so I could go to bed. Therefore, I wouldn't count it as "completely" watched.

Looking back it is fascinating to have flash-backs and realize that emotions are dominating over sense.

I had 5 beans , and I want to give aii for Twenty Again !

I love healer, but after the drama end for a month, i forget the drama easily, but not with I remember You, after the drama end, i search all recaps from another recapers just to read what they thinking about this drama, and after a month past, i still missing I Remember You.
It's not just the characters, but also the story, it's so good that i can't let go the drama.
For me 15+alpha for IRY.

Healer people are too manic. Personally I watched till episode 7 and watched the ending. Whether I watch the middle is still up in the air.

After seeing the bean count, I am giving Oh, my Ghostess another try, but... Ugh, the main heroine drives me cray cray. Thumbs up for most of the other highly ranked dramas. It was a good year for kdramas!

Reply 1988 - my last 1 bean for introducing me to Ryu Jun-yeol. It will be good if you can do sharper editing, really! The length is really getting more absurd by the episode. Sometimes I feel I'm watching 2 separate shows by the same cast, love show versus slice of life (sometimes emotional, sometimes really mundane(dad mum squabble, police station, gambling)) family show

Joo Won, I really love your performance in every show I've followed you in: Baker King, Bridal Mask, 7th Grade Civil Servant (your performance was good even when the show became bad quickly), Good Doctor, Naeil's Cantabile, Yong Pal. But no, I still can't bring myself to give Yong Pal any bean after plunging me into zz-ness after luring me in with the exhiliarating nail biting first half of a ride. You deserve just a honorable mention.

So I had 12 beans. To be fair, I would have many more, but some of these are mostly finished or abandoned. The drama's I would focus on go roughly in this order:

1) Oh My Ghostess (Positive, with caveats -- 3 beans)
2) Oh My Venus (Positive, with caveats -- 2 beans)
3) I Remember You (Negative -- 2 beans)

All of these together really highlighted some of the best and worst K-drama moments of 2015 for me (I watched my first asian drama in January!) and having watched 52 dramas in their entirety this year. I look forward to 52 more in the new year --- Yay, no free time!
