[K-drama Treasure Hunt] Yellow umbrellas

Welcome to the K-drama treasure hunt, where we all go looking for K-drama treasure in the form of tiny drama details that we know and love. Sometimes these details take the shape of well-worn tropes (oppa Band-Aiding) or storytelling devices (Top Secret Deadly Allergy), but other times it’s just details we know we’ve seen in other dramas, but need help putting all the clues together.

Each week we’ll put you on the hunt for a piece of K-drama treasure, and you can report your findings in the comments.

There’s no umpire in this game, so if you find the detail we’re looking for, drop the drama title (or even better, drama title + episode number) in the comments, and we’ll all take your word for it. Or, we’ll go binge watch just to see it play out.

And remember, we’re here to map our way to the treasures not to the plot twists! We know how exciting as it can be to have all the hard-earned details stashed in your head, but let’s try to keep the spoilers out of the comments.

Yellow umbrellas.

Your mission:

We’ve seen ‘em a million times. The question is, where? This week’s mission is to spot the yellow umbrellas — because yellow is the best color for rain rescues, of course. But not every umbrella is a sign of impending storms. Sometimes they bring couples together even under the sunniest of circumstances — like when said couple is just trying to hide from prying eyes and needs a quick cover (yes, I’m talking about our adorable leads in A Good Day to Be a Dog).

I think in Thank You (Janghyuk - Gong hyeojin), the kid brings small yellow umbrella every where. Correct me if I'm wrong it is so long time ago

I watched it yesterday so... True Beauty, episode 6. Big sis and cute teacher share a yellow umbrella.

Melancholia, episode 16.
Drama has a bunch of umbrella moments: blue umbrella > when the OTP first met, red umbrella > when he made a sorta confession ("What if I came across a math problem I can't help love..?"), black umbrella > when he was hoping to get her out of a bleak situation, and last is the yellow one > for their final joyful reunion, after time jump(s), sigh.

I was waiting for Business Proposal that @bunny posted
and Under the Queen's Umbrella that my namesake minnie aka @luckywargoddess posted. Those two pop out the most, and pretty crucial to the storyline (both times).
