Yes, it’s dangerous to be a little bird, when you even have to consider the risk of being fed without having a grown-up check on whether you can actually eat it!
Seeing this I remember the baby mice I used to work with. They are just tiny. And sadly some of them were even eaten by the mother if she was stressed. So until weaning, we had to keep the mouse cages stress free, i.e. no sudden lights or disturb. We were allowed to come only once a day to feed them.
These birds don’t do that, but I read that sometimes a male will kill another couple’s titlings to convince the female that it would be better for her to lay his eggs.
Just so romantic and tsundere, amirite? And apart from the eggs, the brooding, and the feeding, it “only” takes some weeks for her to build a new nest somewhere, which I’ll remind you, she does alone.
Anyway, I don’t think that thing happens all the time. I haven’t seen any examples in the videos online I have seen.

Dear Taguettes!
If any of you feel like I am inexpertly feeding you bird-related non-kdrama content a bit like Mor Svit in these gifs, please tell me, and I will make a tag-list-minus list and exclude you from the bird posts.
I hope, for fun, to post at least a picture everyday, sometimes maybe in prolongation of one post, so that the growth of the little ones can be followed. Hopefully.

Luckily, she did check up on them. (I assume it was Mor Svit, the female.
