I adore Soohyang and when I heard this song last week, I knew I had to put 18 again on the list of dramas to watch. Can’t wait to find out how this song is introduced.

This soundtrack is from A Piece Of Your Mind, it’s a beautiful collection of instrumentals and soft ballads. Every time I listen, I find a new track as my  favourite. Tonight it is Misiryung Sunset.

This drama I grew more fond of as  we learnt more about the characters.
We are introduced to Seo-woo(Chae Soo-bin) and Ha-won(Jung Hae-in) who  become intertwined in each others lives and slowly begin to heal.
I’m not sure what else to say without giving away the plot but it was a very moving, emotional watch.

Ok, the first track is Someday or One Day  sung by Shi Shi  and I’ve deliberately chosen the plain MV so I  don’t spoil anyone who hasn’t watched yet. This is a tw drama called Someday or One Day starring the amazing Alice ke and Greg Hsu.  If you haven’t watched, go watch on viki. Don’t look anything up, just try ep 1 and 2.

Okay if you really need a description, we are introduced to Huang Yu-Xuan in 2019, who is facing another birthday, surrounded by colleagues who want to cheer her up. The only person she wants to see is, Wang Quan-Sheng who she is no longer in contact with. Still reminiscing about their shared memories, she receives a old school walkman with the track Last Dance as a belated birthday gift.  She listens to the walkman on the ride home and is transported to another life.

    Great show, great OST, just one of the best dramas of this year.

      Yes definitely, I think it is a drama you could watch again and still spot something new. Glad it won all the awards this year.

    Oh got goosebumps while listening to it.
    This drama is just 💗 (I confess I had to stop it by episode 9 because I wasn’t ready to see what was going to happen… but I was brave enough, it only took me three weeks to gather the courage).

      I know what you mean, I watched this a little later than everyone else. I reached a point in the drama where I was too anxious to continue. It had been so good so far, I had to ask if the ending was disappointing.

Day 5 Drama you finished for the bean:
Good Casting, was it worth it, Nope!
I did have fun chatting about it in the recaps but it was a chore to watch each episode. That feeling became worse as we got closer to the finale and I  realised that it wasn’t going to get better.
Anyway Sang Yeob did a great job and this song was pretty cute!

    I’m getting annoyed just by watching CKH, hahahahaha.
    But the song was nice and funny.
    And Sang Yeob is just so cute!

Day 4: Dramas that you just couldn\’t finish.
Was it love, oh my baby, alice, record of youth, go ahead, skate into love, the wonder woman, love is sweet, the other cdrama with Fu Pei….

DAY 3 : PPL a drama feels empty without…
I was going to say subway, but I’m glad we haven’t seen that in many dramas this year. 
Notable PPL moments:
Hyena- that nespresso  coffee machine and the office decor and the little cellphone bag!
APOYM- I got at attached to the little AI device, I hope this was actually released as a speaker.
9TF – Yeon who understands my love for Mint ChocoChip Ice Cream, all dramas should have an icecream ppl.
Dodosolsolalasol- the samsung Flip phone. I want it. Can someone else  buy it for me. This phone is everywhere in dramaland,  a candy character with no job, they have the phone, a chaebol, they have the phone.  Where is my phone?  I have looked into it but the price is far to expensive.  Anyway struggled to find a decent clip, so here is ha-young and Seung-ri being cute!

Oops, already started off 2020 drama challenge on the wrong foot!!

Day 2: The Female Lead I won’t forget.
Geum-ja from Hyena, her character was unflinchingly determined, funny and kind. Maybe she didn’t speak kindly but her actions for the people she trusted were sincere and heartfelt.  I hope to be as fearless as that character 🙂

I also want to shout out Ra-ra from Dodosolsolalasol,  this character was so kind and charming to watch!  I can understand how all the villagers grew to be so fond of her!

    I haven’t watched Hyena although I want to, and I know I will fall for GeumJa for sure.
    Regarding RaRa, I only watched until episode 6 and I didn’t like her. I mean, I’ve met some Rara in real life and even if they are adorable, the fact that they always expect others to do things for them is really annoying (well, I may be biased by the thought of a certain person I know, hehe).

      Yeah I think you will like Geum-ja, she was an interesting character to watch, highly recommend hyena if you are in the mood for a legal drama.

      Ahh I see what you mean, yes I can’t stand that kind of person! In terms of Ra-Ra, I liked how she continued to find joy in simple things even after so many traumatic things happened to her. It was nice to see her and the other villagers live and have fun together. It also reminded me how thankful I am to have a version of the eunpo family on db!

Day 2: Male / female lead you just couldn’t stand.
Jung-ha and Hae-hyo from Record of Youth. I don’t even know how the drama ended, I just wish that the next project for these actors is better.

Day 1:
Male / female lead you loved the most.
Geum-ja and Hee-Jae from Hyena! Wasn’t expecting to enjoy this drama so much but from the first episode I was hooked.
Hoping there may be a S2….

Heard awful awful things about the finale for DoDoSolSolLala, the writer must be on drugs.
Anyway I vote we skip the finale and watch a movie on sunday instead?

    I’ve watched lots but they’re either older dramas or I’ve somehow drifted off and never finished them (TKEM, Oh My Baby, It’s OK, Into the Ring…my completion rate has even terrible even if I was enjoying them)
