Beanie level: Water maid

I am presently watching Times which is wow
it is so very intriguing. Each episode never ceases to amaze me. the suspense, mystery, plot, cinematography, directing, everything is perfect.
I mean the time theme and the fact that they had to connect via a phone call, which surprisingly, the phone was only given to 4 people. The fact that the past no matter how you want cannot be changed. And the President Cha, didn’t see that one coming. Anyways when someone is too good to be true then they are TOO good to be true. Wow I also love seeing the female lead, while watching the series I discovered I had seen her in ‘weightlifting fairy’. Love her and the way she portrayed the character
PLEASE WATCH IT IF YOU ARE NOT. Wow! Daebak

crazily in love with Mr. Queen. that is literally the only drama I look forward to. The comedy, romance, just about everything

Whenever I see this picture I just laugh 😂😂. This picture was so funny when used on House on wheels. The expression is just mad 🔥

I am curious though, this beanie level, what is the level like? Is there a way to access the full level to know the highest? Mine just changed to water maid ☺️

I am bored. I have no idea what to watch. I tried watching ‘love is annoying, but I hate being lonely’ and it turned out okay. I also caught up on ep 11 on House of wheel which had me laughing 😂 😂😂

Very funny 😁. I laughed my head off when Dong il ssi did not get any fish after all his boasting😂. Even Hee Won ssi at first felt jealous that Jin Gu caught fish before him😂😂, because he was just lamenting to the extent that Jin gu offered to switch sides 😂😂😂

Awww my playlist just played Attraction by Tearliner ft Kim go Eun. And as it was being played, scenes from cheese in the trap kept flooding me😍😍. I love love love the drama.

I just noticed that most of the leads ended up making a name for them self after the drama. That is a huge feat ❤️❤️🙌🏾🙌🏾. Though I have not really seen Park Min ji

There are lot of people who still can’t watch anything with Seo Kang-joon. I loved his character in the webtoon more and that’s why it didn’t bother me in the drama that they gave him more screen time because in the webtoon it was almost the same.

    0
    1

Right! And I kept wondering why they were complaining because the screen time was the same as the webtoon even less. After I saw him in cheese in the trap, that prompted me to watch his other dramas like Cunning single lady, when the weather is right, the third charm. Though I refused to watch are you human? I think it was because it came out the same year with I am not a robot, and they had almost similar plot

      1

🙋 I started to watch Are you human, but didn’t finish and I haven’t seen I’m not a robot too, just not in a mood for robot stuff.

Awwwww reading through the recap of Marriage not dating, and I realized why I loved the drama in the first place. My beloved Han Groo and Yeon woo Jin ❤️❤️❤️💙💙❤️

It was actually one of those early dramas that changed the concept of Korean romantic scenes ❤️❤️

I loved this drama. The first half of the show was especially good, although the last half flagged a bit as far as I’m concerned. This drama had one of the most unique, quirky, and complicated pairing that I’ve ever seen in a K-drama. As well, the mom remains an interesting and complex character as far I’m concerned.

Turns out there is something better than the female lead having an actual arc and genuine character development – it’s when that all goes to the mother in law.

      2
      1

LOL! Not a fan, I guess?

I think most of the show was pretty lighthearted and funny, so I was okay with the female protagonist not growing much. She already seemed like a pretty decent person at the start of the drama, so it’s only natural that the less-than-decent people in the drama (the dude and his mom) would grow.

I’m a huge fan, Marriage Not Dating is one of the few shows I can rewatch over and over again. That’s because the OTP behave like adults through the whole thing and the message is that the female lead shouldn’t have to change to fit into the male lead’s family, it’s time for MIL to change instead.

          1

Agree with this! As I noted, I think the FL started off pretty great and it was just a matter of getting the less-than-decent people to change! Also a really funny show.

Just rewatching and rereading the recap of Boyfriend acted by Park bo gum. Wow this drama still pulls my heartstrings. The story telling itself is dope. Cinematography also great 👍🏾

I dropped this one after 8 episodes, something about this just didn’t work for me. Does the second half get better (or return to the mood of the pilot episode) or does it kind of teeter of towards the end like most kdrama? I really love Bogummi and would like to finish it… if the mood of the drama changes somewhat.

Personally I love the drama. Though at some point, some people were complaining of the plot development but I felt it was a drama that needs not be rushed. It moved at its own pace. The romance is also great

The cinematography was actually the best part of this show. And that kiss.

Oh my! I just started to watch the legend of Fuyao, and it is interesting. Unfortunately I realized while watching it that it is 66 episode long, but still we move

3
7

Wow, I watched it exactly around this time last year. Don’t mind the long episodes, you can ff some scenes you don’t like to make it easier😆 and please when you finish, let’s discuss it.🌚

I am finally done with the drama and I can saw that there was a lot of plot holes to the drama. Many questions were left unanswered. The beginning was that ninth breach thing she learnt and nothing else was said about it. We did not even see her practicing the move again. Also, how come they made Fu Yao dress well and our Quao Xi was always dressed like her servants. The story just dragged a lot with it focusing on Wu ji.
I also love the romance between the 2 leads. And after Fu Yao left Tanyou, other kingdom story was just plain boring to me

      0
      1

And Wu Ji was not even given the opportunity to explore his kingdom and know about the politics of his kingdom. And if you watch a particular scene where Wu ji and his brother were fighting in a cave, the brother seems to hold his own well against Wu ji and even managed to beat him. If he is that strong how come Fu Yao succeeded in beating him, because we all know she can’t beat Wu ji At all. And she is even considered not that good in martial art, so I am surprised Witt how she unexpectedly started fighting well. She can’t even beat Bei Ye.

Everything else I would’ve forgiven but that ending left me speechless😶… It felt like I wasted 66 hours of my life, the episodes are probably not an hour long because I honestly can’t remember anything else except that feeling!
And about the martial art whatever, wasn’t she trained a bit with that special martial art or whatever, the one she did while hallucinating with some human figure like water or whatever. I honestly don’t know😐!🙃

          0
          1

True the ending was the worst. I was angry as to how my energy spent on the 66 episodes ended just like that. Did they die or something, and if they did, all the whole thing they have put into being their emperor of their kingdom, it’s just gone like that?

Ah … good memories! Good OTP too. Ethan Juan’s cheekiness is irresistible. I wasted spent many hours churning out GIFs of my favorite moments!

‘Presented many good dramas’ , I don’t think so. This is the only drama I like this year. Others did not just catch my fancy 😊. But if you can recommend anyone, but I don’t really see any though

“I don’t think so”! Well, that’s how you think! ^.^
As I read posts on fan walls of many Beanies, they are enjoying lots of the current dramas.

Who has watched this Chinese drama, Accidentally in love. I was so disappointed.
That is one of the reason why I don’t like city Chinese drama, until I find otherwise.

I am trying to look for a nice Chinese or Japanese drama during this period. Any suggestions??

    Japanese drama “love lasts forever”.

    Chinese dramas:
“The Untamed”, “Ashes Of Love”, “Eternal Love”, “Princess Weiyoung”, “Joy Of Life”, “Princess Agents”

(I just realized that these are all period dramas lol 😅)

Thank you. It doesn’t matter if they are period dramas. I discovered that Chinese city dramas are not interesting at all. Have you tried the legends, it is also interesting.
