Beanie level: Errand boy

The cast is stellar and the cinematography, my goodness it made me speechless….a solid start …I just want happy ending for the leads #RedSingleHeart

Joong Gil told her that they shouldn’t cross paths unless necessary but I don’t know why it felt to me Joong Gil’s eyes were asking Ryeon if she recognized him from their past lives #Tomorrow

I sort of felt the same way, as if they have some link in the past, although I’m not sure any of them know about it.

I really didn\’t like anything about Jeon Mi Do\’s character Chan Sung in 39….she is selfish, lacks self control and I am not sleeping with him is a pathetic excuse.

But very self aware. Her self awareness is the only thing I liked about her character. In another drama, that character is an example of a deluded and entitled SFL that must get the man at all cost.

#Rainlessloveingodlessland Final thoughts, it meandered a lot but finale was close to perfect. I will miss Orad, Hsi Tien Ti, Toem and rest!

#SecretRoyalInspectorandJoy My Last thoughts, should have kept it light and fun like the first 3 weeks. This show really didn’t need complicated palace politics, corrupt court minister vs. team Ri On/Joy would have been perfect. Also, Tae Soo wasn’t utilized to his full potential which is a shame, there was such a missed opportunity there. At some point, I started watching this show not because of the story but because I really liked our rag tag team of misfits. The BTS was a joy to watch, the cast had incredible chemistry and were so comfortable around each other, every week it was more and more fun to watch the behind the scene moments. I hope Kim Hye Yoon doesn’t wait another year for another project. I think she was incredible here compared to whatever the heck they gave her in Snowdrop, her moments with Chae Won Bin and Bae Joon Ok was heartwarming, she was incredible in the emotional scenes and comedy as well. I hope to see her back on screen fast. Taecyeon was a delight too. I’ll miss the cast hijinks. Final ratings, 2.5 out of 5

#TheOneandOnly I am pleasantly surprised by how much I like the story…the characters are all broken but it came together pretty neatly to put them in each other\’s irbit…I am all in.

Obviously this is completely unrelated to this post. I just came here to say, after watching episode 4 of Bulgasal. It would seem you were right about there being other characters around doing the killing. I still stand by my comment that making that a mystery is extremely lazy writing, but it also doesn’t change the fact that your prediction was right. That’s all. Kthxbai.

Can somebody, anybody explain why the action plot went from 0 to 100 in #Snowdrop in episode 5? I am not even sold on their romance and we already are in a hostage crisis?

When did Jang Seung Jo become this bad in acting along with Yoon Se Ah…..why is everyone hamming? #Snowdrop

I feel like that was the point when he realised just how bad that drama would be for his reputation.

Bulgasal: well done pilot, well acted pilot, good background build up and intriguing from start to finish 8🌟 out of 10

#Snowdrop was underwhelming to say it mildly….Jisoo was okay, her roommates all were so so in acting in comparison so that helped I guess…I felt neither the chemistry between friends nor the leads

Political plot was interjected in a way that was hard to connect to…I will lay majority blame on to the writing team and direction. Flow should have been better instead of making it a long episode with stories all over the place. Its not a deal breaker yet but I expected better. Maybe things will make more sense going forward and things will cone together better.

Good news is it didn’t seem to piss people off yet but from what I’m hearing it was really long and boring.

At this point the show is only using Joseon setting for aesthetics cause everything else happening screams a more modern age #SecretRoyalnspectorandJoy loved todays reunion between Joy and Ri-Yon!

Also loved the six of them going from beating on each other to dancing around in a circle. That was just perfect. I love that they are having fun with this and not taking it too seriously.

So Hui Ju\’s sins are absolved in her mind, she hears literal church bells, Haewon finally gets the reflection of Hui Ju\’s life and two kids are left motherless #ReflectionofYou

So does Hui Ju end her life or does she move on from her self made prison? She indicated her part in this story has ended but that can mean either her life ends with it or she can finally start over free from burdens. Either way she hasn’t seen hell yet. Good show, great cast, stellar acting….I still haven’t warmed up to Haewon….never will….She started her revenge targeting Lisa, she got her apology because Hui Ju loved Lisa above all else. Her character stayed true to form and pathetic till the end. She literally needed to see her misery reflected on Hui Ju and a stab woulnd to move on. Nope, not quite the Hero. Hui Ju was the most realistic out of everyone. My gut says she’ll survive this. We never will know if Hae Won got her light back….she is alive, she is making art so it is likely but who knows. The biggest collateral damage is Hoe Su and Lisa in all of this. Good show though.

I agree with you about Hae-won, and your observations about her having to see her pain reflected in Hui ju are perceptive.

I began to think about the title of this drama post Ep.6 and even mentioned in Ep. 1-2 Review that Hae Won will become a Hui Ju, one who feels no remorse for shattering other’s happiness.

After the ending, I felt Hui Ju’s self imprisonment closely mirrored Hae Won’s misery during the time WJ disappeared in her life.

So, they both saw a reflection of each other in their lives at the end, which I think was a fitting ending and one that they deserved for building a life out of others’ misery.

OMG I’m trying not to read this. I’ll have to watch it immediately. I’m looking forward to this finishing up. I don’t really care what happens, although they are all on a collision course. Ho ho

I just wrote some stuff about it on my fan wall, and it struck me how generational it was. The children, especially Li-sa were next in line for a whole lot of unforgiveness – so messed up.

It is….Lisa especially….she will both resent and adore her mother. Hyeon Sung deserves the truth though. This show left me feeling hollow.

Secret Royal Inspector remains ridiculous, light, breezy. Please let Tae Soo have redemption arc like Prince Zuko. Please….also love the OST!

Haewon isn\’t ever going to be happy even if Hui Ju crumbles to dust….she is just one of those miserable people by nature. Why am I watching this show? Peace comes from within. #Reflectionofyou

The whole situation with Lisa and Ju Yeong is her fault and she deserves to have a restraining order barring her from ever being around minors again and I can’t believe all of this, she did all of this for that cretin Woo Jae. Hui Ju at least feels like a real human, trash human but real. Her stakes are real, her family, reputation, financial stability, children are in danger thanks to Woo Jae and Haewon’s constant meddling. Yes, she started it, she keeps making wrong choices but at least she is coming from a place of human desperation that is understandable. Haewon thinks she is a saint on a righteous path, no sweetie, you are sociopath and you just were waiting for one heartbreak to unleash your ugliness to the world. God, at this point, all 4 main characters can drop dead. Let the kids find happiness.
