So as to cover the ruse that he was the one who made the bibimbap from scratch, he asked the bibimbap lady he bought it from to make it look homemade i.e don't let it appear perfect and neat. Leave some margins of error. Well, Jin-joo caught him cause she could tell this was store bought because of the care that was taken to make it look non-store-bought.

In Ep 11, Kim Sam Soon (hey, it’s me - of course this is the drama I’m going to bring up) makes a big issue about starting a diet, forcing her to eat plain tough steak while her Mom and sister scarf bibimbap from a shared bowl. Because 🚫CARBS!🚫

My Name is Kim Sam-soon. Kim Sun-ah has it late at night during one of her failed attempts to diet (if i remember correctly). That was the first time I came across bibimbap and it looked so tasty! And the preparing process was quite fascinating with that specific bowl always used.

There was some controversy about a scene in Vincenzo where the leads were eating bibimbap which was allegedly by a Chinese brand. 🤣 Song Joong-ki apologized for the misunderstanding some viewers may have that bibimbap is a Chinese origin dish.
