    Ryooh is going through private rehab and sings about his symptoms, shaking all over. Though the drug gives powers, Ryooh prefers the super powers of love electrified, but never blue, with swollen veins, again:

    In the end, the lovers are together dancing in that little closet,and cheered on by friends, Nam-soon can crush the cotton swab under her foot! (Such a sensible girl).
    Ryooh needs to “rehab and shape up” fast, because, you know, 22 years and all.

    May all this come true in the weekends to come.

    Sigh, I have never seen a drama nosedive and crash and burn after such a start.
    Is there some behind-the-scenes story. 😳
    Did the creatives change, get a brain transplant, went in coma, got amnesia, forgot to write … what, why!!

      I imagine am pretty sure they moved a lot of plot devices into position for use soon. Not all of it will be brilliant – because several of those things were extremely serious, and I don’t trust the writers to get as deep into issues as they managed in Hello, My Twenties, – but I think that most of these things are supposed to be used later.
      Or else we will just have to explain here on DB what should’ve happened.

          I think the theme may be solidarity and cooperation – and accept of differences.
          (At worst it’ll be “Women who has too much power become bad women and tyrannise their husbands and sons” but lets hope not).
          Nam-soon’s dad is right about her mother not being very smart. So apart from him still being smitten with her, it could be a meaningful marriage for them to cooperate. Also he seems to be much more sensitive, also when it comes to other people’s feelings, than she is.
          Granny – she ought to go to jail to be honest. But probably her date will just escape and she will have to learn to woo him, or learn the obvious reasons for her husband to run away.
          Hwa-ja … she needs someone who stands up for her, and some love: Motherly, sisterly, whatever … just someone who doesn’t use her for their own purposes and who support her when she is harrassed, for example.
          I suppose cop guy is perfect … he just needs to take classes in how to bite his finger slowly, achingly, like Park Hyung-sik.
          Ryooh is really scary, but … well, Grease the Musical. But in a confined space, like a closet.
          Brother: I doubt they will end up saying “Well, he’s just fat, and that’s okay” – not in SK. But I hope they … surely they must … let him become happier, preferably I would like Nam-soon to not feel comfortable with what she saw there at the dinner table, … I hope he will become happier, more loved, and *then* find another hobby, and lose weight, maybe. So that at least it’s not just “He pulled himself together and grew a pair, and now he is a hunk”.
          The vagrants … they are good friends to Nam-soon, even the girl who was looking forward to being lazy. I assume Mr. Vagrant will lose all his money again, but then be a great help because of his knowledge about computers and cryptocurrency, I imagine.
          We haven’t really heard of the girl’s talents yet – but that leaves a broad, open field. And whether or not they shall live together, Mr. Vagrant must learn to be nice, also when he is rich.
          And, about Hwa-ja, as I’ve said before, she was mighty strong for a skinny non-super girl. What if she saves somebody’s life and then it becomes obvious she is a cousin or something?

            I’ll be thrilled if your scenarios play out in the drama. Fingers crossed. I’m actually eagerly anticipating this weekend’s episodes because I hope they’ll give some clarity on the direction of the show’s second half.
