    It is amazing to me that they have such intense chemistry. I don’t know anything about theor sexual orientation and the fact that they are so good at their jobs and can simulate such attraction, makes their true sexualities irrelevant and BLOWS MY MIND. Huzzah!

      It’s the not blinking when they are close like this. Just the intensity of their stares and the tearing. I was just at the eye doctor and was told I have dry eye and to blink more and stop starring at things (like computer screens). Which makes me think that these actors probably with suffer from chronic dry eye at some point whenever I see scene like this. Lol.

    I love the seamless way the show shifted from cute, poignant teen romance to sexy, poignant adult romance. Some shows can’t even pull off one, let alone two in the space of a few episodes. I did not expect this one to give me this many feels!

      So true! Very few KDs and non-KDs manage it. It is a tribute to the writing which is mostly good, the direction and the tinderboxes in human form tbat our leads are. They are captivating. How could actors manage to convey such intense and intimate emotions surrounded by crew, lights, mics, other equipment and the camera? How is this possible? I’ve always wondered about this? That’s why I can never be an actor even in a parallel life when my counterpart would want to be one.

        I’m certainly too self conscious to be an actor myself, but I can imagine there are those who can truly get into the moment even with a crew around them. It helps in this case that these two appear to have mutual trust and respect between them, and natural chemistry. I’m sure there are also many times when editing can work wonders if the actors aren’t able to deliver, or if the chemistry just isn’t there, but I’m thinking that’s not the case here.

    I have to say, the clothing and accessories for this show have been spot-on, but Ms. Moh has really been killing it lately. She barely needs any dialogue–what she’s wearing says everything. And that mini-bouffant at the crown of her head is impressive as well.

    I guessed she only said it to not make a bigger deal out of the whole situation. Since the news of their divorce could make the press loose focus on what really mattered.
    Also, I’m not sure if they can really be divorced already since there’s this rule about waiting for three months to finalize the process or something…

    But I like your conclusion waaaaaay better. I hope you’re right. Fingers crossed!!

    They really are divorced. Huh. But there’s some development on Hae-In and Hyu-Woon’s communication skills because when HI walked away after the proposal, HW followed-up with “Why?” and HI shared the truth. #QoTep12

      Ok, I just mastered this today with @attiton‘s instructions. Here’s the code:

      Four points:

      1. You have to substitute the [ ] brackets in my example with triangle brackets

      2. Make sure you use straight quotes around the links, not curly. This is easy if you’re using a text based editor to write your copy first.

      3. Make sure you have a .gif at the end of BOTH links. The short link may be optional, but it worked for me.

      4. Use the right click menu with your mouse/track pad to insert the code. It doesn’t seem to work (or at least it didn’t for me) when I just cut and pasted with my keyboard.

      After you’ve done this once you’ll find that it’s not nearly as complicated as it looks.

I haven\’t watched Twinkling Watermelon but I watched a lot of fanvids in YT for Cheong-Ah and Yi-Chan, their youthful love was so sweet and the acting of Shin Eun Soo and Choi Hyun Wook was so good.

      Haven’t developed the k-drama skill of dropping shows since I also have a completionist tendency. When will I finish my 4 pending shows? I’ve no idea.

            I hope you enjoy watching them. 😊 For me, I can only fully enjoy one or two dramas at the same time, so I don’t normally watch more than that at the same time.

            I’m Pretty sure that’s the life cycle of a drama watcher – one day it’s one show and no dropped dramas ever, next you’re juggling 7 dramas and dropping at episode 2. Then it’ll be back to one drama at a time..

    I got hooked when the human bit the vampire. Then when the vampire was trying to prove that he was a vampire. That slow steady build of hate-tolerance-friendship-love between Woo-hyeol and In-hae. #HeartBeats
