    Hey Vincenfam! So as we know, our consigliere-extraordinaire SJK and V’s director Kim Hee-won were both nominated for the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards –– an incredible honor indeed. And though they didn’t win, we also know that they are winners in our hearts anyways.

    This led me to have a random thought: what if Vincenzo had its own awards ceremony? Hence, The Vincenzo Awards (aka the Vinnies) were born ✨ Just for us to have fun voting for our fave show in different categories!

      So this is ‘Part 1’, meaning yes, hopefully there will be a part 2 and beyond – but these take lots of time, brain power, and effort to create! If you would like to help with Part 2, all you’ll have to do is to leave a comment here with:
      – a category suggestion (E.g.: Memorable Team Babel Moment, Fave Drama Reference etc)
      – 3 or more nominees (pls add episode numbers)

      And we’ll do the rest 😉 The more creative, the better – we’ll also be happy to credit you with your suggestion!

      clearly our Yeorim needs a much bigger stage than just being among fellow plant buddies 😂 this show has been so absolutely generous with the SJK references! brilliant through and through. suuuuper sad that there’s no eps next week, how am i(are we all) gonna get through it…..

      yes! i kinda wished V channeled more Yeorim but hey, i’ll take what i can get 😅 i had to pause the show for a bit and have a little scream before going into the ‘Park Hyo Shrine’ hahaha oh this show is amazing with sneaky references. wonder who the Park Hyo Shin fan in the production team is!

          Oh I just found him and realized I LOVE his voice since watching Mr Sunshine. Listening to him sing I find my eyes close and I just feel the emotions through his voice.
          WOW! Now I need to go back and watch this scene. heck I need to rewatch the whole drama. who am I kidding?

            so Park Hyo Shin is also known as the ‘God of Music’, probably the reason he was referenced heh. the song that paralegal Nam briefly sang was the first line of Snow Flower (눈의 꽃). yes – his voice is amazing indeed!

            and tell me about it! i think this is one drama i’ll have no qualms about wanting to rewatch, just to relive all the hilarious moments again and again.

    they did the same with my Vincenzo blogpost (from Koreandramaland.com) and I’m trying to demand for them to take it down because I did NOT give them any permission to put it up. seems like they’re doing it with other websites’ content as well. they don’t seem to have a contact email (smart?) and the only way to reach them seems to be via the comments, which they moderate.

    Cool! I really loved the visuals in Ep 10, especially the abandoned Health University and the Rail tunnel with all the arches that reminded me of Italy.

      hello dear @bbstl! and yes – Vincenzo’s totally been serving up the looks, and i’m not just talking about SJK hehe 😉 And good point about the structure of the rail tunnel! Didn’t make that connection at all. Really quite impressed with the location choices!

      Although… I was actually surprised to read that the show is 20 instead of 16 eps! Really hope that the team will be able to sustain the story for another 8 episodes, though I have no doubt that they’ll be able to do it as deftly as possible.

    I don’t have any predictions, but I do have a wishlist! I would love to see more of the seaside and the countryside. The cities always feel a little claustrophobic.

          And with this, i would say that oh jiho and geumbi-yang (pardon me for forgetting her real name) togerher with kim jiwon and park seojun won over songsong couple on year 2017.
