MMH Ep.12 I like the confident look on Na In Woo/Joo Yi Hyuk when confronting his ex-fiance it’s a good look on him.

Oh no I just watched ep 11 of Marry My Husband and the minute I saw the former fiancé my interest just dropped and I’m dreading watching ep 12, there’s no need to introduce a new antagonist for our heroes.
I don’t want to drop it but I think I’ll wait for next week to watch it, I’ll have 3 episodes to watch and I can fast forward as much as I like.

Hmm, I’m pretty sure I dropped Perfect Revenge Marriage, when I started watching ep 11 I realised I actually missed watching ep 10 last week and my first thought was “oh does that mean I also missed ep 10 of Castaway Diva” (I watch the two shows together) and so I went to catch up with CD leaving PRM.
I feel a little bit bad but not enough to go back, I’m happy enough with reading the beanies comments and seeing the gifs.

Doctor Cha: EP 3 so husband, wife and son are all in the same department, can’t wait to see what happenes.

I’m half way through episode one of Under The Queens’s Umbrella I like it so far but I’m not sure about KHS facial expressions and the faces she keeps pulling but maybe I’m being biased I don’t think she’s suited for historical dramas.

Unpopular opinions and that makes the 2 of us.

I think it’s on purpose. The show is labelling as dark comedy. It’s not aiming for a typical sageuk.

So I won’t say she’s not suited for sageuk, it’s just the choosen direction for this drama.

I love her as an actress, but I’ve seen her in other sageuks, and I can’t feel whatever era it’s supposed to be from her performances. I know I’m in the minority here.

Oh I didn’t know she was in other sageuks whenever I think of her what comes to mind is her modern dramas. I’ll have to check them out.

Those faces were the exact reasons I wanted to watch The Queen’s Umbrella. They’re ridiculous, sometimes really over-the-top and really quirky. But I do enjoy the face she makes with her court lady.

You have a point though. I can’t yet place her in a Saguek. Yet, she really shines whenever a power trip/show off/standoff comes up in-between scenes in The Queen’s Umbrella

For sure she’s pretty good in the more serious scenes and standoffs and to be fair I think they pulled back on the exaggerated expressions now I only notice her eyebrows 😅 or maybe I got used to it.

UTQU is a 16 episode drama so it is still early days for the story and performances however I have watched through episode 3 and I would not call what I am seeing any kind of comedy. Yes, there have been some light even funny moments but taken as a whole so far I would not call it a comedy. This is a serious contest taking place in the distaff part of the palace. The two Kim’s, Hye-soo (Queen Im Hwa-ryeong) and Hae-sook (Dowager) I think are perfectly matched. At the end of episode three they are in an actual face off cliffhanger. 13 episodes to go. So far this a drama I can’t wait for the next episode.

Sorry, my memory failed me and I only watched episode 3 last night lol. The episode does not end on a cliffhanger but with an emotional punch. However, there is a face off between the two strong willed women in episode 3.

It was labeled as a black comedy, but I wouldn’t even call it that. It’s pure melodrama, which is fine, but that’s not how they promoted it. I don’t think writers know what black comedy actually is.

The faces she makes are seriously distracting. I’ve watched through Episode 4, and I really like the drama but don’t like her performance. I’ve had issues with her performances in other dramas though. Episode 3 was when I decided I was in for the long haul in spite of her acting.

Oh my god I just said that in another thread! It’s comical really!

Love In Contract I just hope by the end of this drama Hae Jin doesn’t end up losing both the girl and the cat, that would be unfortunate.

    ….And the cat🤭🤭🤭🤭😂😂.
    You have me in stitches.
JAmye lacks loyalty and camaraderie so much so that I don’t think Hae-jin’s devotion will ever be enough for Jamie 😂.

Amy walked a long time ago it’s just because she is a house cat physically she can’t leave, but the fact she goes to anyone but him and answers to another name says it all. Haejin needs a dog then he will have instant friend. I am not an animal person but even I know that cats have an attitude and he needs to accept it and move on.😐

I feel bad for HaeJin because of that cat. All that devotion and Jaime still does not like him.

Did the writers of LINK forgot to include some PPLs in earlier episodes so they’re awkwardly inserting them now or what

This literally always happens. Just be thankful it’s not subway. ^^

I was thinking the same! It reminds me of a scene in Welcome to Waikiki 2, where Lee Yikyung’s character is on the set of a drama where the writers forgot to include about a dozen PPL products (including a LED mask, hoverboard, exercise machine) and so try to cram it into this one dramatic scene – where the ‘villain’ is supposed to be threatening the ‘good guys’ – in the most hilarious way 😂

The Waikiki humour was touch and go for me in terms of the gross element and it went there too many times but some bits were hysterical and I can picture that scene being an absolute classic.

LINK keeps messing with me with their seasons, I just can’t comprehend seeing them wearing jackets and what not and here I am melting from the heat.

Is The Devil Judge the first drama for Kim Jae Kyung after secret life of my secretary? I thought she would have more offers after it.

Dear Muslim Beanies,
Ramadan Mubark, may it be a blessed month for you 💝

Is there a reason why both Jae Woong and Jung Woo have super strength but not Jamie
I was rooting for this drama but it keeps disappointing me.

I’m still curious about the super strength situation also.

I’m facing quite the dilemma, I don’t know if I should wait to watch Forest Of Secrets to binge it like I did the first season or if I should go ahead and watch it live with the other beanies.

2

Are you fine waiting? I recommend you binge watch it. 😄
