Wedding Impossible 9-10
Ex-tra Cool
Some of us had dreamed about a world where Do-han’s ex was less avengeful and more just hurt. And where Do-han could be with that love and also stay with his family, including his brother and best friend.
Turns out the is ex really not all that avengeful:

Not so Cool
Some of us had hoped for more character development for Do-han, too. Finally we got some more scenes with Do-han confronting important people in his life. Alas, turns out Do-ha has a lot of room for improvement, and he seem to not have started working on it yet. Very little, anyhow.

As for now, I like his ex a good deal better than I like Do-han.

In the end, Will Grandpa Come Out Too?
This guy smells a lot like: “You can’t have it all, and you shouldn’t! I did fine without ever blabbering any ridiculous deeply felt softie truth, like some sissy fool! Young people nowadays have no endurance!”

    De Profundis Clamavi Ad Te*
FL describing the black hole she’s in … I find it beautiful. I like her.

    Perfect Reaction to Aegyo
The secretary and that girlfriend confessed and caused the best reaction ever to all that aegyo.

This was pretty funny too, though it wasn’t a reaction to something aegyo, just “cheesy”. Personally, I was moved by FL’s little sigh, but this is fun, too:

She is pregnant so when she pretends to be sick it aggravates her delicate stomach and thus leads to her actually feeling like she will be sick.

Wait, she’s pregnant? Is she in a relationship? I kinda got the vibe she liked the secretary

That’s my theory🕵️‍♀️ I think they mentioned her being in a relationship before but I may have dreamed that bit😆 she complained about feeling on well and the run to the toilet has happened more than once so in a K drama that is all the evidence you need.

That Dad is so guilty as not-charged-yet!
I mean, look at him! So shifty!

I am calling it now my theory on the two dad’s:
The second set of grandchildren are from the mum’s first love who she was not allowed to marry because grandad forced her to marry the father of the older children because he had status. She complied but as soon as she had given him the mandatory son (the daughter is irrelevant to the dad) she left to be with her one true love. The husband would not allow her to divorce him or have contact with the older children so she had the subsequent boys and was prepared to spend the rest of her time with the second family. The husband was annoyed that she left him and so he had a scheme in the works to maybe kidnap the other children but in order to prevent that from happening there was a car chase that resulted in the fatal accident.

And part of that is that for grandpa, it’s unthinkable to let a girl inherit the company. Otherwise, that cackling older sister would probably make a great business woman.
There has been a couple of dramas with older sisters turned bad for being discriminated against, haven’t there?

I don’t agree. The brother is older and their father is the one pushing him to inherit , forcing her to take the fall when the brother screw up. The grandpa told her she shouldn’t protect her brother. But the main issue is she never showed any love for her halfbrothers.

            It’s like you’ve watched a lot of K-dramas, @reply1988 !!! Seems really, really plausible 😁

I still think that Ji-han is Grandpa’s son and his parentage is completely different than Do-han’s.

@attiton so looking forward to seeing which of our pick and mix guide to K drama plot lines wins this time😆

I don’t know if they’d actually do this, but to me it would totally make sense that grandpa was gay, too.
The less compassionate towards Do-han, because “shoving my feelings away never did me no harm” style of thing.

The dad is suspicious. But I still don’t understand why the grandpa protected him and why he made Ji-Han so “scapegoat”.

There is some extra story there that we don’t know, but grandpa extra dislikes Ji-han. He wanted to control everything, and since one grandson disqualified himself by being corrupt, he needed another one – but only one? If Ji-han had been older, he could have been the baby of the unwanted son-in-law and adopted before he could remember. But he is the younger son.
