Anyone here who reads books? Have you read the six of crows duology by leigh Bardugo? It's getting a TV adaptation!!!!!!! It's one of my all time favorite book with one of the best morally grey characters literature gave us. I am worri3d about how they are gonna bring the shadow and bone and six of crows characters to life, but my excitement is overshadowing my anxiety, what to do?????
Also, desperately waiting for #alive to release online!! How many days/months does it take to subtitle a movie?

Love love LOVE Six of Crows!!!!! I'm worried about the TV adaptation as well, and confused with how they're handling the two series at the same time, but Leigh Bardugo being directly involved makes me feel better about it. Fingers crossed!

Grey characters you say I love those. As much as I've searched it isn't getting released before late 2020 which is well now and the rest of 5 months of 2020. I'll wait for the opinion on stone and bones (that's what it is being called i suppose) by the general public because I'm always wary of adaptations.

About once a year, an article pops up on k-entertainment sites about the highest paid k-drama actors. Last week, one such article came out to say the highest paid was around $85k(US) per episode. Hyun Bin was second at $83k(US). How reliable this private information cannot be confirmed, but if past articles are any indication, the pay has been going down. It makes sense since cable series pay less because advertising revenue is less than networks. The top three networks have been losing money so production costs have been cut.

I read last year that several actors were not paid by their production company for the last few episodes of their series. Their court claims seemed small, less than $50k(US). It seems only top draw stars have the ability to demand higher pay.

There is a misconception that television dramas pay more than movies. You can spend 6 or 7 months shooting a 16 episode drama while only 2 to 3 months shooting a movie (with a larger budget).
Even US television stars do not make the $1 million/episode which used to be a standard for sitcoms or dramas twenty years ago. The only recent change has been Apple, Amazon and Netflix spending billions for original content. A couple of large Korean production companies have set up Hollywood offices to try to capture some of that money.

It seems that when a streaming company licenses a k-drama, those license fees are going to the production companies and not to the cast and crew. I do not believe Korean actors have profit sharing in their productions. Secondary license fees may be the profit margin for these productions.

I bring this up because contraction of production costs can lead to several things: one, less episodes per series; two, less production quality; three, less top stars on the small screen.

I thought the Hallyu actors/CF queens/kings wages were much higher? I'm watching "IT'S OK" and Osan reported that Kim Soo-hyun is getting paid 200 million won per episode. That's around $166,000 USD.
Lee Byung Hun was getting 150 million won, about $134,700 USD for MR SUNSHINE.
Lee Young Ae in "Saimdang, Memoir of Colors" was pretty high too.

Your list sounds more reasonable and realistic. Big wages is usually part of the hype and never confirm it.

Those big wages are confirmed. They come from industry insiders the only people who don't confirm it are the actors except for JJS who admitted he took a 30% pay cut. Those rates don't include advertising revenue which when you stack up 10 new endorsments per person becomes 10× the total they earn from the entire drama. Even if the drama flops the fees and advertising revenue is guaranteed so the only person who suffers is the director and producers if theu can't sell the drama. For KSH he not only gets 200 million per episode plus advertising revenue but since his company is part investor if the drama sells overseas for a big sum he also earns a big profit from that. Basically he is the highest paid actor in South Korea earning even more than movie actors like LBH. The other advantage big names celebs have is they can earn advertising revenue without doing any or minimum advertising activites like fan signs, photo calls etc.

Do you have that confirmed list and link? I'm interested but it's not that important.

I'm always conflicted when it comes to my bias attaining Hallyu status. I usually don't like their acting as much for some reason. Too much hype for my liking.

I think the problem is with the conversion. Over there, the money is quite high, 150 million won is quite a lot. don’t forget there is a rise in dollar in almost all countries. When looking at the pay, look at it from the point of the view of the citizens of that country.
For instance, in my country 150 million is quite a lot but when converted to dollar, it seems less, it is I think $333,333.3 which seems less.

I think I saw the same list as you did, and I think it's outdated. Jo Jung Suk was missing from the list. According to articles during Hosplay, JJS's normal pay is up to $80k++, he got it reduced to appear in Hosplay but even when his salary was reduced it was still high and he should be on that list too.

I recall some years back an American actress complaining that its getting harder to make a living as a character actor. A supporting actor can get as much screen time as the lead but find themselves being paid 1/30th the wages of the guy standing next to them

Happy weekend Beanies and keep Beaning On!
Beanies, we are already halfway 2020!😱 Time sure does fly, even during a corona pandemic.
Last week I fibbed that I did not really had anything to discuss, because I did not feel like talking about the one issue that had been messing with my sleep and my appetite and was probably on its way to become a stomach ulcer. I placed an expensive order at my regular web shop more than a month ago that would be delivered by the external seller. The seller informed us about the long delay, and we did not mind because of the pandemic circumstances and because we opted for paying after delivery. Somehow the web shop is convinced that we already received our order and has therefore sent us payment reminders and the first fine. Being someone that abhors conflict and lives by the rules can be a curse it seems, because I have been busy pissing off the complaint service workers at both the web shop and the external seller’s office in my quest to get it all solved.😒

Last Tuesday everything finally changed for the better when my dad heard back from his insurance company. They confirmed that legal insurance was included in his policy and they requested all the proof I had been diligently collecting to pass on to their law firm partner. Things might take a while to resolve, but I am so happy and relieved that some professionals are finally on our side. The best and most important part of it all is that I started July relaxed, well rested and well fed again.😌

My perception of this good week is of course heavily influenced by the whole ordeal, but it is mainly found in the small things. Like getting the promised callback from the recruiter who interviewed me last week.☎️ Like finding nearly every item you are running out of in one and the same store by chance.🛒 Like receiving a birthday parcel with Asian snacks and T-shirts with sarcastic quotes from one of your best friends.🎁 Like adding beans to your 2020 bean count and having new K-dramas to start.❤️

Little Boy - 515k-575k

Look at the top 10 countries and who is ruling them. yeah, governance is just a name. I said several weeks ago Little Boy will test and is testing well.

This week was too harsh - It wasn't a plan but i somehow went through 48 hours without any meal. no food, no water and cherry on the top was on sleep for 31 hours.
Enough to annoy, irritate, frustrate, struggle, suffer, misery for those who love you, care about you.
It was tough. Such a foolish challenge. Life on the line. Vultures flying around and mind was still calm. This is where Mind should have stepped in and make immediate retreat.
Overall, I'm writing this comment so once more I'm Alive.

At such young age i have seen varied range pain and suffering both physical and mental through natural, man-made, self-inflicted events and actions that now, when, i look at others pain and suffering i feel like its not as much as these people make it out to be. Ofcourse, everyone has different sense of feeling and their own experiences form their own levels to measure others and that's how i think understanding others work too. You compare your own experience similar or completely different in nature and action but the common point is the same feeling. Depth can be vastly different.

Now i can make an excuse of i truly understand what starvation means, what hunger means, what it means to have to travel kilometers to find any source of water, whether clean or not.

People fight for their principles and rules and even put their life on line for them. If in the face of challenge you easily compromise or choose easy way out or take a short cut, then it truly shows your true nature and character. You don't vote for XI just because his army is knocking at your door. Body goes through wear and tear and one day you will be no more - its all natural, but what you fought for will always freely float around in this world and to a greater degree in this human world.

Mom Son materialistic fights next week. If you can catch the children then you can control the parents. Easy human history lessons for you.

I have utter respect for 1 - Motherhood and Monkhood - +ve
and one par of heart want to challenge both and tempt them.

Even i put motherhood on pedestal. This is foolish view.
What about fatherhood then? Business world aka money isn't believer of partiality so we got father's day.
The overglorification of motherhood certainly raises few questions. The way most societies and media presents it, adds pressure on women to be a fully functional aka completely active responsible mother. It kinds of a badge which raises your worth when it shouldn't be that way at all.
Its also a nice way to turn someone into a housewife.
I've seen so many articles and writings on why a mother is this and that and more flattery all around and clearly raising a level where fatherhood is just a means to get sufficient resources.
By defining motherhood in a specific way societies quite cleverly dictate the roles a male and a female has to play.
Not only females but also males are at receiving end of all this beautiful marketing ploy.

Today I am actually going to "work" for the first time since March.

No the company isn't reopening. It's been operating with just a skeleton crew, and that's not changing.

I've mentioned in the past that I am semi-retired and my remaining duty is to stick around in the evening so whoever is staying late doesn't have to stay alone by themselves. That's an oversimplification -- I also get to open the building when someone needs to come in on a day when the company is closed. Today it's electricians.

Trimmed down my airing dramas to My Unfamiliar Family and It's ok not to be ok, and obsessing much about both, they're so good, each in its own style. MUF ressonates a lot with me. IONTBO is just beautiful and poignant through and through... It's building up my expectations so high that I'm a bit worried that it won't deliver in the end, but if it doesn't, I can always revisit the first 4 episodes.
Got stuck by the beginning of ep 10 on Sweet Munchies. SM made me a Lee Hakjoo fan - knew him from Be Melodramatic and Memories of the Alhambra (frankly, don't remember him inr Sunshine), but in both dramas his characters were kind of annoying. As Kang Taewan, he stole the show. The drama itself is a bit meh, glad they wrapped it out by ep 12 and hope that the leads go on to act in other projects! Apparently, JIW will be in a sageuk next year, yay! Dude knows how to rock a hanbok.
Might still go back to Oh, my baby, but only if I'm reassured that noble idiocy doesn't drag on for long. I'm loving Jang Nara and Go Joon doing lovey-dovey, but right now that's the only thing that was keeping mildly interested.

Watched The Witch part 1: subversion!/. Went in thinking it was a horror movie, but it's not! Don't want to give much away, but want to reassure scaredy Beanies that it isn't scary at all (albeit a bit bloody, at times) and it's a super fun action flick. Kim Dami is a queen.
Saw a lot of love for Mystical Pop up bar here on DB, and it's finally available in my region, so I've downloaded some episodes for the day's I'm away from town!

Another show that highlights what a not so good director can do to a drama after TKEM is Lost Romance. It's lame. And besides the premise it just has nothing I'll want to keep watching it for. That actually made me realize how good and detailed Extra ordinary you was and how simple but still wonderfully done The romance of Tiger and Rose was. I started the new episode yesterday and it was so boring and long, They have supposedly done a lot with a chaebol story in the background but everything is so dated and doesn't work.

Hello Beanies and happy Friday - AGAIN. Unfortunately I can't wish a happy 4th of July to the other American Beanies here as this is such a hard time to be an american given the current state of things. I'm so worried at the rising cases, and the lack of leadership and the general state of despair here. :-(

Well it's been an interesting week for this unemployed tech writer. I can now say that I've talked to multiple recruiters - one who unloaded about working from home with two kids and pregnant with her third when I politely asked "how are you doing?". ooof
Then while talking with another recruiter I kept hearing a rooster in the background - yes a rooster. haha
Another one I talked to laughed along with me when I said she was the first person I talked to that morning and we moaned about all the projects we AREN'T doing even while stuck at home.

What's interesting is that so far I've been submitted to remote positions at Microsoft, Facebook, Apple and yesterday at Amazon. But I still keep working and struggling with some depression at all that's going on. I'll get through it. My dahlias are starting to bloom and so are my gladiolas!
Sunday is my birthday and all I want to do is curl up and watch dramas all day. that's okay right?????
So I'm beaning on one day at a time and hope the rest of you are as well. DB is such a great place for me where I can spazz about the beauty of Xian Xhan and now Jasper Lui with their blazing smiles!!!

thank you - cahm sam me dah - shay shay - muchas gracias and shukriah!

Aw we're all in this together even if in different conditions. I totally get what you're saying about the depression. I am a writer as well but I've been unemployed for quite a while and have stayed home even before the pandemic. It gets to you. Now atleast people understand my situation that being stuck inside just aggravates your mental health issues. Moreover, the future of jobs also looks bleak along with a pandemic which we don't know how long it'll last. Hopefully you get that job and I'm wondering are these temporary positions in these companies as you're talking about many of these or is it just the recruitment process you're discussing?
Also I love your optimism. It's a tough situation but we'll get through this.

In many cases, they were jobs I applied to and got a response from the company recruiter. They are mostly staffing companies and all but the one with Amazon are contract positions.
The job with Amazon was great and the hiring manager liked my resume, but the recruiter wanted me to sign up for a $700 online class to be a certified SCRUM master - just to be interviewed. yeah right.
I am only applying for remote writing jobs and I think there will be more of them coming up.
And I have to be optimistic..... otherwise I'd probably drink myself into a coma. :-(
Hang in there! What kind of writing work do you do? Are you on LinkedIn? That is a great source of information and support.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay - I’ve been loving the excitement and interpretative discussions in the recap threads. I think the quick release of the recaps have also encouraged readers to participate. This drama makes me want to rewatch each episode – I rarely feel this way because I’m always behind on other dramas like My Unfamiliar Family. My current drama list is now down to these two. Gotta leave some room for July dramas, heh. :)

This year and this month officially sucks. My schedule has gone for a toss since I don't have to study for anything and I've become really hyperactive. My PC isn't working properly and I have to tell my dad about this and I know I'm gonna be scolded anyway. My mom's phone, which I use because I don't have one of my own, is stuck in headphone mode and I need to do a factory reset. I need to do a backup but my WiFi connection keeps breaking. My exam result is out in two weeks and I'm not prepared for it. Anyway, my week sucked. Lets hope things get better

I let myself be sad this week so now I'm going to go sit out in the sun.

On a lighter note, the books I requested from the library months ago are now ready for pick up. I'm also trying to find someone with Disney plus to that I can watch Hamilton.

Have a safe weekend!

Happy friday, you all! Saturday and it's OK seems really far off, this show is just too good. I've even re-watched some episodes, something that very seldom happens in my limited me-time.

After two years of discussion, my husband and I finally settled on new tiles for our kitchen so I spent the day bent over the sink, removing silicone. The cuts on my fingers feel like badges of honor. ✨

I'm having an luxury problem with my Pavlova. I think I might have succeeded with the recipe, I'm not just sure I like the final result. Luckily egg whites keep really well in the fridge (a month or two is not problem in an air-tight jar) so my family will have to sacrifice themselves again. Ah, the pain.

I have a question when it comes to pavlova - what do you do with the leftover yolks? I never know but I don’t want to waste them.

Maybe mix it in an omelette, pancakes or just add a yolk to cake batter? We never have leftover yolks, when we make mayonnaise or chocolate pudding I always keep the leftover whites in the fridge. But yolk doesn't keep well, it needs to be used within 24 hours.

I made a cake that used 12 egg yolks because I had used all the whites for an angel food cake. So yes, I had two delicious cakes that same day, but this post has reminded me that I still have most of the egg yolk cake in my freezer. Thanks!

Lemon custard - stay in fridge for awhile and taste good in almost anything.

One of my fave cookies recipe calls for yolks only as well. The dough stay well in fridge or freezer for longer.

Can you describe the texture for me? I'm not sure if I've gotten it right. This is gonna sound like a ridiculously good thing, but its softer than grilled marshmallows, airy and melts in your mouth. I don't quite like this texture since I prefer a crunch.

My pavlova always has a crunchy shell and quite soft and marshmallowy inside but commercial ones tend to be softer (and taller 😅). I don’t know if it’s just the way my family makes them though.

So it’s July, how about that. I actually told a friend that it’s okay to not be okay in our conversation the other day. Because so many people aren’t right now and I wanted her to hear someone allow her the space for that. Plus another two eps this weekend, yay! I perhaps she’ll be up to watching the kdrama one of these days. My feet are dragging on Munchies, Il Woo or no, but I’ll eventually finish it. Love Heart Signal couples/not couples. Finished Let’s Eat 3 rewatch while waiting for Doojoon’s update on The Manager this weekend. And our Asian Prince, Geun Suk is back from military duty. They both deserve a good kdrama, well ... we deserve to see them both on kdramas soon, please!
I-Land, hmmm, holding out that Rain, Zico, and cool producer Make this competition show a good one. If not, I won’t be too surprised.

Happy weekend! I’ve spent my week watching Twogether, which I really enjoyed (although it has reinforced to me that fan meetings are not my thing). It’s got me wondering, how many languages can you beanies speak? English is my first and really only language 😅 I can hold a simple conversation in French (with a terrible accent), and I can do an introduction in Maori. After that I’m down to basic greetings and a handful of vocabulary in a couple more languages (including Japanese which is a bit horrifying because I spent five years learning it at school and now can really only remember ‘I don’t understand’).

Hello beanies of the world!

Happy Friday.
Me: not so totally happy for I have to work tomorrow! 😖

Watching: still The Nokdu Flower, Diner mates, My Unfamiliar Family, It's ok not to be ok, and even the Chinese Skate into Love once in a while.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I still want to catch up with Oh My Baby and Romantic teacher Dr Kim 2 which I put on hold long ago because I was tired to see our nephew Chan getting beaten by thugs.
Sooo much to watch and I haven't even started Memorials, which I am interested in watching live, or Hospital playlist, which I would like to binge at some point.

News about my father: he is in his house already although going to the clinic for rehabilitation therapies. He still has the Lung infection, but his liver and kidneys are ok.
By the way, I really have an important question and I really appreciate if I can get your help.
Because my dad had so many complications after the surgery, he had to stay longer in the ICU and also in the regular patient rooms. He left that clinic with a debt similar to what we paid for the surgery, which is mostly money we took as a loan and we will pay in 5 years.
Now the economical situation is worse because of this new debt with the clinic. My siblings have asked me to elaborate another campaign like in Go found me, but I know there must be other websites where I can do that cheaper, maybe??? And if not, at least... where can I post my campaign, so that lots of people can be aware of that? (My Facebook wall is very useless for I don't use Facebook almost at all)....

I wonder, if there are public open forums, even with topics of raising funds for whatever,, where I can publish my dad's story... see if I can find people to sympathize.

Thanks, whoever that knows more than me and can help me.
I don't practice so much social media and I am not popular not even in the place I live. Now even less because I moved to a new city and don't know anybody.

I don't necessarily want thou guys to pity me, but I feel pretty lonely.

Anyway... have to keep on helping my family.

Beanies! Lots of love from my corner of the world!!!🙋

Really Really- THE song that ruled 2017 and marked their comeback after a long hiatus and restructuring from 5 to 4 members.

Island - chill song and beautiful MV

Millions- it's a verrrry feel good song. Always makes me happy!

SOSO - The MV is a masterpiece and very underappreciated... The song is not my favourite from them but the music video is brilliant!

FOOL - Another great music video plus a beautiful song

Baby Baby - back when they were 5 members. It's a really brilliant song, trust me.

I have given you 6 recommendations which are all very different from each other. Then there are other MVs and B-side songs which are great, but for starters, check these out maybe and lemme know if you like/dislike them 😊

So I started watching Psychopath Diary and I watched the first episode and really liked it! The pacing was good, and before I knew it, it was over. I heard if you look at it as a black comedy, it's hilarious. The kinship between the two men got me curious ngl lol. There is something about a hot psychopath that draws you in ;) jk. Should I continue to watch b/c I don't have that many new shows to watch rn?

@soulsearch12,
I would definitely recommend sticking with PSYCHOPATH DIARY that is if you can handle watching Park Sung-hoon in 2 totally different roles if you also are watching INTO THE RING.
I am a big YSY fan but I was in a way shocked (in a good way) by the performance of Heo Sung-tae. I know it is early days for you so I can’t say too much.
Lol I will say PSH has better hair in PD than in ITR.

A ha!! I watched clips of him in Justice where he was creepy, he and Nana had weird chemistry there lol.

I might put Psychopath Diary on the back burner until Into the Ring finishes/or halfway through depending on my mood lol!

His hairstyle/haircut doesn't suit his face imo. I think Nana looks cute but in the show, it looks a bit off on him. I thought a rom-com is where our leads are suppose to look amazing ;)?! Def. suits slicked hair are the hair he had in their press conference. Hopefully halfway through, they switch the hairstyle!!

Welcome 2 life: this worth checking out
Legend of Fuyao: definitely definitely worth it
Dinner mate❤️❤️ My bias
Life on mars
365: Repeat the year
Oh my baby: I started then dropped it
Oh my Venus: basically read through the recaps
Tomorrow with you
Fates and furies

Also I just recently celebrated my birthday, and it was awful, many of my friends had traveled back home and I was the only one in my state. Home alone in my apartment 😭😂. I spent the day receiving calls and messages and actually going to a restaurant to eat by myself. My friends called it ‘sad’, I called it a good way to lessen expenses on inviting a lot of people 😂😭😭

This week I finished, When My Love Blooms, and Welcome/Meow, the Secret Boy. I liked, When My Love Blooms, however, it's not one I'd watch again, and that's how I gauge if I thought a drama was really good. Welcome, was interesting, and struck me as a supernatural type story so that's how I took it. I was crying at the end, and was glad to see Hong Jo come back, which I guess proves that even a human-cat has more than one life. This is the second Kdrama I've watched concerning a cat. Imaginary Cat was the better of the two.

Happy weekend.
I realise this may not be a popular opinion but can someone please explain Kim Soo-Hyun to me. I was reading an article that metioned he was the highest paid actor in K-drama land at the moment.
I just don't get it, as there are far better actors out there.

I watched MY LOVE FROM THE STAR (Dropped after 10 Episodes) and all he does in that show is 'resting brooding face' with the occasional smile / goofy grin (when drunk). I understand that he is an alien and doesn't know human emtions but still.... Jun Ji-hyun carried that show and did the heavy lifting of bringing life to a scene.

Same with the THE PRODUCERS (Dropped after 7/8 episodes). He has Goofy Grin, I'm confused and more resting brooding face. Gong Hyo-jin, Cha Tae-hyun & IU have far bigger screen presence than him.

As for IT'S OKAY NOT TO BE OKAY (everytime i say or write that i sing Jessie J - Who you are). He has more Resting Brooding face, i get that the show has yet to explore his story and i'm sure there is a lot more to come however, when i watch the show it's all Seo Ye-ji. Her presence alone in a scene draws your attention to her, yes her character is designed for that but, the reason i want to keep watching It's okay is because of her and not him.
I'm not trying to attack him but, i Just don't get how he is the highest earner in K-Drama land.

Sometimes, we don't like actors juste like this and it's not a big crime! Don't feel guilty for that.

Personally, I really like him. He's very subtil in his way to express his emotions and I think he's charismatic. I didn't feel that his different characters were the same.

Hello, Beans! I hope everybody has a great week. It doesnt feel like summer this year for me, so I am not able to fully enjoy like the previous years.

Anyone watched Twogether? It makes me wanna travel. I miss traveling. I wonder when I will be able to visit another country again. Anyway, I think I am gonna watch my first Twain drama, because of Jasper Liu. He is adorable. S2 to Lee Seung Gi, I noticed that I started to watch things just because of him.

Finally finished The World Of Married. I liked the end. I liked the balance and how every character was developed. Will I watch again? Nope. Do I think it could have been 12 episodes? Yes. Did it have the same effect as Sky Castle? No. Currently struggling to finish Eternal King. My girl Kim Go-eun overkilled. LMH could have been played by a door and it would make no difference. Well, except the "Shes your future Queen", line. I think thats all the acting he need, just for that line.

I'm shocked that Soul Repairer Dramabeans recap was incompleted already after only two episodes. :( Maybe because Lollypip might be on vacation during pandemic or Lollypip might be busy at home (work from home). Or this Dramabeans might be cancelled for a while or might come back for some other day to complete this recap.

So, I knew that our next planned Dramabeans recaps that I'm excited for: Men Are Men and Was It Love. So with Graceful Friends. Either two or three aforementioned dramas will be included.

I couldn't believe that House on Wheels is not a drama but a reality show and I didn't believe that it was the first reality show ever recapping on Dramabeans. Maybe we hope that reality shows will be not included since it was for dramas only on Dramabeans.

Hi all:

Hoping all is well. Trying to lose weight, trying to not get into social media fights with flaky conspiracists. Trying not to let critters eat up my garden. A certain bunny (who, except to his family and close friends, shall be nameless) has eaten half of the leaves of my zinnias. I was pretty much thinking he would spare my garden because up to now he didn't touch anything. The lettuce, etc in the raised bed are all untouched. According to the internet, rabbits do not touch zinnias. So if it's not Mr Bunny i don't know who it is. Raccoon? Squirrel? Chipmunk? Possum? Woodchuck? Whatever the reason, half the zinnias are pert near nibbled away. But in other news, (because i throw seeds and fridge stuff willy nilly into my garden) I've found a sweet potato plant. (Note, i tried for ages to create potato slips but nada...yet by simply tossing an old sweet potato into the garden, i now have a plant. Go figure.) I also discovered a squashcumelon of some kind on the side of the house where i thought nothing would grow. And best news of all, there's a grape vine profusely growing on the fence and over the raised bed.
Dramas:
Episode 5 of "It's okay to not be okay" and i'm still hating the female lead. Oh my gosh, i hate these female characters who have been so wounded by life that they are nasty and feral. And this one, oh my gosh! I am of course hating it because we all are to take it for granted that she just needs loving people to accept her and that soon our harassed stalked hero will give in. That stupid-ass redemption arc is coming because well, the title. And i am so not in the mood to accept extreme narcissists as romantic needy women. Narcissists do not get healed. So if she ends up with the hero, this will be another case of kdrama going painfully and dangerously wrong with psychology. Be brave, drama, and let us see how truly crappy relationships with narcissists can be and destroy any hope of romance between hero and female lead by drama's end.

Am in waiting mood now that so many dramas are over. Still haven't watched The Bad Kids or Kindnapping game cdramas because i don't want to be harrowed too much.

Have a great weekend, all.
