Still wishing for a reboot of Cool Kiz on the Block.

It’s a really entertaining sports show, I’d recommend it to anyone, any day.

My top favorites were swimming – Eun Jiwon’s the black horse, basketball – it’s the original Kuroko No Basuke, and badminton – the team was just amazing.

My favorite person however, is Jota from Judo team. 👀

I felt sorry for Ki-seok until he had that conversation with Jeong-In, telling her \”of all people, Yu Ji-Ho?\” *in a derogatory way* then I realized it\’s just his pride now.

His desperation is gonna turn him into a pathetic loser. I am calling it.

    See, I thought he was a dick to Ji ho and was shocked that he was called on it. And then to have Jung-in say the exact same thing, it is not even pride, he is being petty. Dude really thinks he does no wrong and the fact that he does not listen, to anyone, pisses me off as well.

    it doesn't have very complex vocabulary, so if you know everyday korean, you should be able to understand most of it.

      Il Mare gives off a gentle breeze. Quietly lovely seems perfect description of the film ^^.

      Honestly, I love the korean movie so much that I didn’t want to watch other versions anymore.

      Oh, I saw only that remake on DVD. It was a time when I was binge watching Keanu Reeves movies while one day off. It wasn’t the best so I should check the original. I don’t think there was one Hollywood remake I liked. They’re all the time lacking something.

      Somehow Lake House did not quite capture the wistful tone of the original. I thought Il Mare also managed to convey the time slip/parallel universe/time glitch thing better.

Done watching The Guest, I’m still in awe.

What an ensemble! I’ve always been a lover of crime/mystery dramas, and this show is such a great addition to my fave collection.

Now, what to watch next?

    It’s a really great show, but I suggest not binging it straight through. Take breathers. You will need them. That said, the first couple episodes are very very intense, but the show does slow that intensity down and dole it out in a more measured way. Well, there are some episodes that are, well, I don’t want to ruin it for you.

    It was a shame that it was cut short. That really messed it up for me. But the male lead was well done and the show, despite its flaws and unfinished plot lines, had that lovable charm.
