    Start-Up left me with a gaping hole in my chest and I wondered if anything could ever fill it, and then three days later the healing began with this embarrassingly funny, over the top, heartwarming, delightfully giddy show that is True Beauty. 13 episodes in and the growth in these high school characters has brought me to tears, wondering if loving Start-Up so much was my biggest mistake. If you gave up on this show because of the first few episodes I urge you to reconsider. It’s got so much heart that yours will feel full after watching it.

It’s one thing to get the perfect looking cast for True Beauty, but it’s a total delight to the webtoon fans to see Jugyeong, Suho and Seojoon acted to perfection. PS: Heegyung you’re such a rockstar!

I ought to stay the hell away from love triangles after Start-Up, but UGH, True Beauty is so cute! I love the webtoon, so please show, don’t disappoint me!

Binge watching season 4 of 2D1N and I realise there is a glue IF start-up breaks my heart. It’s KSH being his goofiest self ever. It befuddles my mind how the same man is suave HJP.

According to the show brief, HJP is the “Gordon Ramsay of investments.” He’s so tame in comparison. He’s like the Mother Teresa version of Gordon Ramsay. 😂

    I feel like Girdon is mean only on Masterchef US. All the other ( non-American) shows that I have seen him on, he seems pretty decent. Also maybe it’s just me but the guy seems like the kind of person who will give you tough love but you will learn ro respect him in the end

Some scenes are SO worth the wait. Like HJP finding out about Haelmoni. I believe Dalmi asking about the letters and Dosan finding out about HJP’s background will also be worth the wait. It’ll be HUGE

Two things became crystal clear on Start-Up today. Who really has Samsan tech’s best interest at heart and whose interest has claimed Dalmi’s heart.

      I’ve noticed this trend. When one episode is Dosan heavy, the next is almost always Jipeyong heavy. Hopefully tomorrow is his day 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 I’ve come to realise, I just like seeing KSH on screen. He can just be sleeping, eating, driving, talking to Yongsil, Haelmoni, NDS, Dalmi et al. As long as he’s breathing on screen, I’m happy.

One love triangle ends, only for another to take its place! If not for the webtoon I’d be tearing my hair out. Have to say though, both Suho and Seojun are lovely and Jugyeong is a lucky girl.

    Love him to pieces. That is one of the loveliest HJP’s smile scenes I ever saw in the show up until now: The scene he was smiling/laughing to himself watching Dalmi laughing hysterically at the bus stop.

    First you have to watch 1N2D, then perhaps Waikiki 2, and then perhaps 100 Days My Prince, and then perhaps Strongest Delivery Man, and then perhaps You Drive Me Crazy, and then perhaps a number of videos featuring him on Youtube…

Since everybody and their grandma thinks HJP will not be the man SDM picks (I still believe my ending MIGHT come to pass), how do you think they’ll end his story on Start-up? Any theories???

      The only family and friend he has is Yong Shil, (not even going to mention Haelmoni anymore because she’s always been team SDM) so you think they’ll give him a family and friends in the time jump?

    They’ll give him some dumb ending where he’ll learn to be nicer/more emotionally open.

    I wouldn’t mind a spin-off without Dal-mi and the 3Sans, in which it’s Ji-pyeong as lead with halmeoni as nagging surrogate parent.

      Adventures in Venture Capital … surely there are enough odd/funny/crazy/whatever stories to make a nice drama? Sort of like a hospital procedural but with ideas and true believers and their problems…

      I believe he’ll get a happy ending. They won’t give him a sad one after putting him through so much. But I’m still not sure how. Neither Injae nor a token partner sit right with me.

    If it was up to me, DM does not have to pick anyone. She will have her own story and not just a “prize” for the MLs, a kick-ass CEO on her own, and DS will continue on to invent amd create new apps, and become a billionaire and JP will continue to be a successful VC and maybe even run Sandbox. But this is a love story, sadly, so most likely JP will be sent to a different country. or wherever. I am emotionally prepared already for that ending, I have no expectatiobs anymore after this episode.
