I actually looked it up if there was such a thing as Shiba Sky. I found out that The mixed breed have different names: Shusky, Siberian Inu or Husky Inu. The breed is described to be a trickster with an appearance to be a mix of a wolf and fox. The mxed breed is really both cute and handsome. The things kdrama watching made me do. 😁

I have never seen such an amusing squabble with hair pulling, kicking and swinging arms. Eun Gyeol swinging both arms in big circles was the most hilarious of the entire scene for me. 🤣🤣🤣

    I love how the drama edits played us with the cliff hanger version at the end of 8 and the hysterical reality in episode 9. I am glad they had this kind of a fight scene rather than a brutal one.

      They are so hilarious together even when fighting.
      EG will never seriously hurt his father. That one punch scared the heck out of EG. He is not likely to repeat it.

          Me too. Its better that YC does not find out. It will get complicated. But its not like EG is even careful, he called both his parents as “appa” and “eomma” a lot of times.

    It’s weird. Wasn’t Dream Sweet supposed to a parody or an example of what’s bad about these kind of kpop girl groups? I’m still on ep 5 but that was my thought. Perhaps it was just wishful thinking because this MV seems to want to say Dream Sweet was just another regular group. No social commentary just more of that.

        Having now seen the preview with subtitles, I suspect that Gil-chae will return to Joseon at the end of the next episode. At one point she says that she will stay until she has nursed him back to health.

        Now that you mention it, I realize had two comp-lit reactions to it:

        1. It’s like when Delilah cut Samson’s hair, only Delilah IS Samson and she did it willingly to herself. Bloah.

        2. You know the ending to Disney’s Tangled when the prince took it upon himself to cut Rapunzel’s hair “for her own good” but actually sapped her of all her power without asking her if that’s what she wanted? Like that, but again, she did it willingly, to herself.

            Came across a scenario online about how she went in a different town to sell her products and faked being married for protection (I guess single women were more prone to kidnappings?). Probably not true, most likely she is married and the beach scene is their doom for not following the Joseon rules regarding married women. Which I would not like, to be honest and not because of their tragic end but the reason of it.

          I like your theory. If she is captured and sent to Qing, and can’t return to Joseon, then I don’t see why she can’t be with him. He doesn’t care a fig for the laws of Joseon anyway.

      Yes finally. This was also a storyline on Durian’s Affair. There were two Joseon women time travelers. The execution left a lot to be desired (though I liked the younger time traveler’s story) so I am hoping this will be better.
