Yoon Si Yoon!!! I need my season 2 tomorrow. Work Later, Drink Now was such a great slice of life. So many ups as well as low downs. So many life lessons.

No one told me Work Later, Drink Now would be such a tearjerker. I\’m going to miss it so much.

Today\’s episode of Red Sleeve was not good for my heart. I\’m sure it\’s not good for anyone\’s heart. I almost want to say that along with Racket Boys, this is my best drama of 2021. Please please stay good!

Junho, how is Junho so good in every role? Just so so good. I can cry

This episode was hard to watch, but so so good (although I kept fast-forwarding–too slow)! If only the next episode didn\’t look so terribly sad. She deserves a happy life after even the king granted it to her. #TheKingsAffectionEp12

Just watched all 8 episodes of Work Later, Drink Now, and it is fantastic! Really enjoying it so far. It feels a lot like Be Melodramatic and Age Of Youth put together.

So happy to see other people enjoying it!

I know a lot of people dropped it after the first couple of episodes because of the drinking but… that’s the whole premise lol I don’t know what people expected. I think over a decade of watching kdramas has made me immune to binge-drinking scenes, LOL.

I just love how the friendships are portrayed!

Also Ji-goo being a gay ally is my favorite, just wish they made her gay as well. Oh well. Episode 7 made me cry!

I’m one who dropped it after the first couple of episodes because of the drinking, but I recently picked it up again because I needed something short to watch and some people were raving about it. I like the friendships and the weirdness does remind me of Be Melo. The way the drinking is portrayed still bothers me, but I’m trying to let that go lol.

I love of slice of life, especially those focused on women so I can absolutely ignore all the drinking. Everything else happening in their lives seems more important! Even though I don’t drink, myself, so I can’t relate to the drinking at all haha

Are there other sageuks out there about Yi San? I love how different this King Yeong Jo is from the one in Secret Door! #RedSleeveCuff

How is she planning on making royal babies is my question. Does she not know marriage == royal baby making festivals. #TheKingsAffection

    Seriously side eyeing her mom.

the only way is by a princess who is fully in on the plan and then Hwi being master of disguise…
but I think it will end predictably with her leaving the palace and the little Rabbit taking throne or perhaps Hyun…
what I don´t understand is why are kids always manlier in sageuks than the adults. I mean sure, most officials are old geezers with barely any brain capacity left, but to be that out of touch with reality…

Depends on whether the team descends into makjang territory or not. There’s always a way – whether it’s good or not, well….

I really wanted to see Yumi and Woong make it work! Does anyone know when season 2 will air?

Goodness. I forgive Red Sky for the absolutely boring few episodes near the end. This is the best finale I\’ve watched in a long time. So perfect. I\’m so emotional. What a lovely group of characters

Ohhh that makes me really hopeful then! I’m at episode 9 and was getting quite bored. Good to know it ends well!

Yeah 9 to 14 is a bit meh and repetitive, but 15 and 16 are good. The first 6 episodes were too good for me to turn my back on the drama! Not a perfect drama, but still a lovely story from start to finish.

        Thank you!
Can I actually skip 9 to 14 then? Lol Would I be missing much if I do?

maybe you can just skip through them? i never skip episodes so I don’t know lol

based on what happened in the past, I think the probability is slim. but who knows, they didnt blurred his face and only edited out his parts in the latest ep, which is quite generous compared to previous seasons tbh.

My head hurts. I don’t know what to believe anymore. I’ll just wait for things to unfold a bit further to have the final verdict.

    6

I don’t know what to believe anymore. I really do want to believe what Dispatch said, but I’m not gonna trust any statement 100%.

    4
    0

Sigh! Every single revelation since the past week had been “More tea anyone?”

    5
    0

Hmmm. Not sure about this yet but there are still those that are suspicious and think it is a paid hit job. I wonder how the ex-gf is going to reply considering that she has lawyered up.

    2
    2

For a woman of 37, who is a journalism student.. that post was too well crafted with intention to bring him down .. But moreover, she has been in the industry, reputation precedes everyone … it would be so easy to verify what her network thinks of her.. agency can’t buy all , dispatch can’t buy all.. they can be sued for slander.. they need to say all of this with concrete proof..and agency won’t spend millions if they knew it is out an out KSH’s fault ONLY

      1
      1

But isn’t KSH’s apology well crafted also? Dispatch has also never been a paragon of the highest journalism standards. The agency still needs KSH, who is now one of their biggest talents, after all the success that he has had recently and they obviously want to soften any impact of possible penalty fees that he/they will probably get hit with. Isn’t all these worth spending “hit jobs” on, that is if they indeed went this direction? I’m not siding with the woman here because she appears to be problematic character. But I can’t give KSH a pass either, though if the Dispatch write up is true, he is getting crucified far worse than the other celebs that have behaved criminally.

This is still a developing story and the ex-gf could still “retaliate” and spill more tea. After all the misdemeanor and criminal allegations that have come out against other celebs, it’s hard to believe any statement or write up.

        2
        2

          ya.. could be

all of this could be long term PR planning.. agency knew about the scandal, the comments are all from after he became famous

but i don’t get a victim angle with the girl too..

like why can’t both be bad?

look ultimately impressions and reputation matters..

it is 30+ year of building your skills of impression management and 15+ years for both to do reputation management in their field of choice..

Therefore, ultimately, if people don’t have anything bad to say about you that becomes the truth..

She came into KSH’s life only now.. but we have not seen even one person say anything against her.. whereas for her, there were already the spicy stuff in air about how revealing her identity will undermine everything she said..

paid or not.. will someone come out and say she is not like this? Can she not sue Dispatch if this is not true?

            0
            0

That is what it reads like. I only skimmed it, but before they get to the accusations they make sure to mention she is a divorced and imply she likes to meet men It really reminds me of western celebrity culture when “close sources” talk to different outlets, just more clunky.

I don\’t want to regret watching 2D1N, but that\’s 94 episodes of 1 hour 20 mins each–that\’s many hours of my life wasted over the past few weeks. And how can I continue watching when I realize that I can\’t trust that the other members are also decent humans–because again we will never know. Until we do know. And then it sucks all over again.

At some point near the end of 2020 or beginning of 2021 episodes, his vibe seemed to change and I just couldn’t like him as much as I did before–I wonder if his changing character showed through? Ugh But I’m always on edge about Junghoon and Seyoon’s image as great fathers and husbands. Since the beginning of the season their image worried me so much. I can’t handle these scandals anymore.

    4
    2

lol.. i didn’t dislike him but him pretending to be an idiot or fool or whatever on 1n2d was pretentious, this is easy to make out given how behavior contradicts.

This is fine because your duty on variety is to make funny situations. The team had their camaraderie

Bummer.. 1n2d announced he is out!

      3
      1

behavior contradicted over months* .. he is a smart guy and knows people management very well..

but i do hate to see my lineup disturbed 🙁 🙁
and in last episode only he was mentioning he went to jong min’s home..feel bad for jong min.. scandals everytime

I know what you mean. For me, it helps that Yeon Jung-hoon and Moon Se-yoon tend to make fun of the family man thing, like YJH mentioning that Han Ga-in had a great time on her own when he was in the army, or MSY’s rant about his wife’s nagging.

      2
      0

Me too. I finished watching the latest ep of 2D1N (I think it’s ep95) an hour ago, and I was having somewhat a hard time watching the whole ep. Because of his apology statement, I couldn’t enjoy his “image/role” in the show anymore. And I began questioning other members’ real character. Deep down I know that they are doing their job by portraying their role in the show, but without “us trying to forget that” we will never be able to be immersed or have fun watching these shows. That suck. It really does.

    1
    1

I know what you mean. I don’t think I’ll be able to stop questioning the others though and that makes me really sad.

I so regret binging 2D1N. I wouldn\’t care if it wasn\’t for that since I had given up liking k-celebs deeply after all the scandals for the past few years. But I grew way too attached to the cast of 2D1N

KSH was my fave of the members, but weirdly I found him the most boring so I’m not sure I’ll miss him that much. Contrast to Moon Seyoon, I really missed him when he was out that one trip. Anyway I hope the show continues.

      2
      2

I agree about him being the most boring. Honestly, I hope they don’t replace him with another actor.

        1
        0

I actually found him to be the most funny starting around ep 20 until somewhere near the end of 2020. And then weirdly I started wishing he would stop reacting so much. But he was still so much part of the team that I don’t know how I can watch without him

        0

no.. but you can stay for the rest of the members too

I definitely will, but it’s going to be difficult watching the members pretend they were never 6 🙁

This 2d1n binge has me listening to old songs and I miss the old SMTown so much. Their summer and winter special music videos were so warm

I just had to share. Look at this cutie he’s been holding onto to Jongmin for so long. I have so many dramas to catch up on for the past week, but I can’t stop watching 2d1n.

It makes me happy now that more people are watching 1n2d. I started watching it when I was heartbroken with Scarlet Heart’s ending and needed something to make me laugh. I binged Season 2 and 3 then and it became my weekly happy pill. I love s3 members (except for you know who) but s4 members are just different. They are funny, nice and pure. I love their relationship with Smiley Pd and the staff too. I think they get better and funnier as time goes by. I am a bit worried with Ravi’s upcoming enlistment though 😔 It is not the same when one of them is out, like the time when Seyoon took a break.

    2
    1

I used to watch S3 on n off but I can’t anymore. But yeah the vibe btw both seasons are very different. I hope Ravi will just be on hold while enlisted and not quit. Kinda worried w Seon Ho and his movies too..

      2
      1

I hope Salt won’t make him quit the show 😔

I\’ve fallen way too deep with Ravi. Also how did Seonho become the funniest member on 2D1N–tbh he made cringe soooo much in the first 13 eps lol!!! I\’ve been bingeing the season for the past week, and I desperately want to slow down, but I can\’t haha

The maknae member! He is so cute when he is clingy 😍

      4
      0

He is the first youngest member that jong min is actually comfortable with..

He was petrified of seungi and intimidated by JJY.. never had a very deep bond with yoon shi yoon…

So, it is wonderful to see him being comfortable with all 3 juniors; even if dindin is a showoff/in your face.. he is not rude (i can’t explain this.. he can manage relationship with all kinds of people.. e.g. helping seonho out on 1n2d by building this whole dindin vs seonho arc to give him a role that really helped seonho build his presence on this show)

      4
      0

I noticed that too cos i’m also clingy but a bit less than him. Btw you can edit your posts but it doesn’t always show immediately even after refreshing. But if you have photos or videos linked it’s best not to edit, it’ll get messed up.

The episodes only keep getting better and our (viewers) laughs louder. Such a good variety show not just for the fun but also for throwing light on Korean culture and heritage!

However, I do suggest you restrain from watching more than an episode a day because this show is the cure on days that are frustrating/sad/angry. Happy pill for illness😂

Ravi is fun. He’s unexpectedly witty and touchy feely. Seon-ho has become very funny. He was such a variety newbie when he started it was sometimes hard to watch lol.
