Wei Ying teaching the youngsters and going night hunting. Avoiding the uncle, etc.
Yes it is. This is the first time in a long time that I felt the celluloid matched what the author had written. WWX and LZ were just these transcendent beings and Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo just fit them to a tee.
I just read a bit of the novel in the beginning. Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo really brought the characters to life and perhaps more! I think this feat is hard to surpass.

I didn’t even know there was another spin-off! I had known about The Living Dead since I finished The Untamed but didn’t know about Fatal Journey until now 😮
