An empty beach is my favorite beach. I am envying your open water, sand, and sun. I am not, however, envying your intense heatwave. I hope the temperatures are no longer in the brutal and deadly range.
*sigh* I have at least 4 inches of snow on my driveway to shovel, and more keeps falling.

Not where I am. Winter’s starting*
*my family would roll their eyes at this statement. For me, if it drops below 25 degrees I think winter’s coming.

Empty beaches are so rare here, but so lovely on the few occasions when I can see them..

I’m so envious of the empty beach and the heat.

Pretty sure I could find empty beaches here if I could make it through the snow and ice to reach them.

1. I LOVE beaches.
2. I’m reminded of “footprints on the sands if time” from A Psalm of Life by H.W. Longfellow
