I’m not sure if this was posted by anyone here, however, here’s Xiao Zhan laughably making mistakes at the Ellemen interview. He made so many and he thought they’d be edited, I think, but nope!

So cute as usual. Thanks! I saw this vid on YT but didn’t watch it as I get notices for probably dozens of XZ vids a day and just can’t watch them all! Glad you posted.

HE IS SUCH A SQUISHY MARSHMALLOW 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘 I wanna take him home 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

I love how he’s not so obsessed with keeping up with his ‘Idol’ image and just laughs everything off…. It’s so freeing and relaxing to see

He was probably feeling freer, thinking that those parts would be cut out of the final aired video. So funny. I wonder if he’d be the same if he knew they’d keep the errors as they were. 😂 😁

I don’t think he would be or feel any different ☺️☺️☺️ Xiao Zhan is like that— he is unapologetically himself, and is comfortable with that fact… He is known to be SUUUUUPER polite, humble, hardworking, respectful and has a higher-than-most- people work ethic compared to other “idols” and because of all of this, he’s been called “fake” and superficial a LOT of times by others (it’s a large reason why many anti-fans called him out and said that his donations to the coronavirus was extra and unnecessary and disrespectful to his seniors in the industry for over ceding his seniors in the industry once they found out about his efforts—and before the antis even found out about his donations, they called him out and asked why hadn’t he donated yet… sigh, you can never please everyone), but he still remains himself, not choosing to change just because of the hate he gets…

He explains it in this interview (Links are English subbed 🤗🤗)— it’s one of my favourite interviews of his

Crazy people. Do they think guy has to make a poll to try to please them and give only the amount they think it’s respectable? Everything must be some competition? I can’t even believe he has anti fans, the whole fan culture is so strange for people from far away.

I’m not surprised he has antis… No one can ever please the whole entire world and it’s impossible to make everyone like you, being a public figure is no different. How he responds to said antis, though, is his choice, and so far, I have not seen or heard (and don’t think I ever will) it having an impact on him

You’re a genuine fan @bebeswtz!!! XZ needs more sincere people like you. Poor guy is put into hot soup for nothing, just because others want to be ‘difficult’, have issues, are suicidal, etc. I’m referring of course to the unwarranted wars over the AO3 etc fan fic sites and its spillover. Poor XZ.

            Thank you @growingbeautifully ❣️

            This whole AO3 thing…. sigh…. I don’t even know where to start.

It all bottles down to censorship and it breaks my heart that it’s come this far, especially now that some people have literally put their lives on the line, but that is all I’m going to say about this issue. I’m not going to takes sides, I’m not going to try to defend or justify anything or anyone.

After XZ Studio put out that official statement yesterday, maybe or maybe not they did more—or HE—might’ve done more or may have done NOTHING more, we don’t know. From what I can guess, though, as a fan—as a HUMAN BEING— is that I’m sure he takes this seriously, especially now that people have their lives on the line, but we don’t know how he will respond it either, publicly or privately. He’s a public figure, but is very private person at the same time, and I don’t blame the guy. But I do hope that he will be able to bounce back from this.

I just hope that everyone will come out of this okay

            —————————————————————————————————-

As for being a fan of things in general, I’m sure that people can see from my Fan Wall and what I choose to post and put out, I’m actually very particular and choose-y about the things I like and decide to follow and become a fan of.
I’m not a fan of every and all Kpop groups (male or female). I’m not a fan of every Kpop solo artist (male or female). I’m not a fan of every K-actor/actress.
My standards of choosing who and what to be a fan of bottles down to what I can see and take from the artist/actor/actress when it’s the quieter moments and the less flashy moments.

Since we are on the topic of him:
The moments like the more chill interview above of Xiao Zhan. Moments like when his eyes sparkle when he talks about his cat, Nut. Moments when I can find consistency in his personality & how he treats people on and off the camera. So much nowadays can be faked or can be done just for show so that a public figure gains traction and gets people to believe what the PR team behind the artist wants the public to believe. But for Xiao Zhan in particular, I don’t think he’s fake. I definitely can see that he is a genuine person who chose to enter the entertainment business because he genuinely enjoys what he does. Hardly anyone would leave a good-paying job—that s/he went to school and spent all that money and time on— or would tell their parents “No, I don’t need your money, I just need your moral support” just to put everything on the line to debut so late in the biz to “hope for the better”, no. He chose to enter the biz because of his hobby in singing but found a love of acting and has simply been working towards that since. Everything else and everyone else he has or will encounter, that will give him a boost in his entertainment career (like “The Untamed”), I don’t believe he takes for granted, nor will he ever take anything related to his entertainment career for granted

I wonder if translation is correct? He is 64kg being 1.80m ? That’s way too skinny and he talks as if it’s good, and people ask about it as if it’s ok to keep asking about his weight, and it’s all crazy kk.

Hi @lixie yup, that’s one of the normal topics for questions. Strange, right? As if because he’s a celebrity and Korean, it’s anyone’s business. What’s your age, weight, breadth of shoulders, job, … got a girlfriend? … getting married soon?

I agree that he’s probably underweight. Don’t know why celebrity ‘beauty’ involves being emanciated.
