I can’t verify the content because I’m not watching (yet), but I can tell you that even on my rebel browser, everything looks great!

Happy weekend beanies. Could yo recommend me a website to download kdrama osts for free? Thanks in advance.

I don’t think we can recommend illegal thing on dramabeans 😅

It’s a pity that spotify free only lets you listen to samples now 😅. But I have found a way around that 🤭. You can save the entire OST to your playlist by clicking on “like all songs”, check out the sample tracks, then screenshot their names. You can then search for your favourite tracks on youtube using their native names. Or, just search for “(drama native name) OST” on youtube. It is easier to find all the tracks using Korean/ native titles. Youtube saves the day! Yay! Happy weekend to you too!

Hello beanies I am going through a rough patch so I hope you will recommend me some truly healing dramas. I can’t take anything that goes dark along the way, so please only healing drama. Thanks a lot

Wedding Impossible It is such a blast. I like the female lead but not fond of younger brother. Hoping it stays fun without succession battles.

Doctor Slump Is the show going slow now or is it just me? I am still enjoying this healing journey but spending half the episode on Ha-neul and mum is too much when second leads barely have screentime

2
2

slow, meandering, there isn’t a plot really.. just an attempt at some slice of life (trend post cha cha’s success)..

if not for the leads… this show is totally meaningless

    2
    1

It has been like this since last week. Most of ep 8 was Ha-neul wondering if they are dating and then we got hit by Kyung-min stealing her work. And episode 9 is just the same. The blind date was unnecessary. It would have been better if mum had a heart to heart with Ha-neul after the breakup and told her not to be guilty. And we got more of the secondary leads or whatever else. What aches me is the potential. Ha-neul helping Jeong-woo get over the PTSD and opening up about what really caused her depression make for interesting plot points. But according to the preview, Jeong-woo will hear Hong-ran talking and learn the truth. I wanted him to hear it directly from Ha-neul.
Also, you can’t cast Park Yoon and make him a plot device. His teenage daughter arc is nice to go over. Dae-yeong is a fun character and having this single dad pursue romance against his rebellious daughter will be fun. It is the same with Hong-ran and her cute son. Why put them in the poster and promise us a secondary romance when you are going to treat them like this?

My lovely fellow beanies Happy New Year to all of you! Wishing to have one more beautiful year ranting about our favorite dramas together. May it be one with many outstanding and enjoyable dramas.

The Matchmakers! Stick the landing, please. You can do it, show.

Lady Park is the true villain/antagonist here. Our leads had better watch their backs. She isn’t an easy one to deal with. Even the king is glad she isn’t a man. Imagine her as a government official!

You guys are really enticing me to watch this.

Quick question: I know Park Ji-young has been a formidable character since week one. Did she get to the height of it this week. I want to know so I can just this week’s installment and get all this enticement over with.

She’s definitely in the forefront in ep 13, previously she’s the power behind her husband/brother/family.

She took the main stage in ep 13 but was the mastermind all along

She’s reading The Art of War! Absolutely genius of this screenwriter.

Any recommendations to reignite my passion for dramas
PS: I have been watching Kdramas for more than 3 years so I am in need of some light-hearted hidden gems here. Thank you fellow beanies in advance

Tell Me You Love Me. You may the first ep and see if you like it.

I’m not sure if it’s called light-hearted, but it sure feels soothing and gentle and quiet – at least in the first ep.

Gaus Electronics. 1st episode might not seem enjoyable to some, but from Ep 2 you will love it.

I second the suggestion of Gauss Electronics, and would also add Pegasus Market, Welcome to Waikiki, Once Upon a Small Town, Dali and Cocky Prince, and From Now On Showtime!

Once Upon a Small Town was really cute. No murder! Just countryside character a little bit overwhelming. But the ML was really nice, not too cold, and professionnal.

Extraordinary You has one of the best FL! Danoh is such a sunshine!

Girl’s Generation 1979 It was a cute drama even with this era.

My “light-hearted gems” in chronological order:

    – Would You Like A Cup of Coffee (2021)
    – Special Labor Inspector Jo (2019)
    – Eunjoo’s Room (2018)
    – Naked Fireman (2017)
    – Chief Kim (2017)
    – The True Colors of Gang and Cheol (Drama Special, 2014)
    – Flower Boy Next Door (2013)

Every “light-hearted” drama these days comes with a murder, except OUAST as Kurama said 😅. I’ll also second Business Proposal as a truly light hearted drama, but it kinda fizzles out towards the end. True hidden gems for me were Eunjoo’s Room and A Poem a Day (though it has other not very ‘light hearted’ moments 😅 which I loved nonetheless).

All the best for your quest to reignite your passion 👍. I am also trying to rediscover mine. And just as a tip, I think its important to manage your expectations and be flexible as a viewer 🙂

Start Up. A perfect time for a rewatch especially with the similar vibes I get from Cast Away Diva

Uh-oh … go watch Kim Seon-ho in The Childe. He just won an award for it.
That should cure any remnants of Han Ji-pyeong-itis that is making you want to see Start Up!

sure. I will give it a try. But I have been team Nam Do-san all along just like Dal-mi

Cool! Just a little word of warning both The Childe and Vigilante, in case of Nam Joo-hyuk withdrawal symptoms are 180 degrees opposite from their roles in

        Hope you enjoy watching. 😀

If you didn’t like the previous episodes then I think you should drop it. I enjoyed this week episodes but it’s because I love the show, I’ve always liked it.

Angel Eyes. The drama is very slow.

I liked the childhood part with Kang Ha-Neul and Nam Ji-Hyun. I completely forgot about the rest. I’m not a fan of the adult actors.

Just when I was appreciating Twinkling Watermelon giving time to character development and romance we get hit by this cliffhanger. Are you kidding me? There is another accident!
