In our culture, we usually have the marriage officiated before the actual wedding, it is done days before the wedding or weeks or even months sometimes, whatever the couple and their families agree on, and it’s a period in which you are officially married but you don’t get to live together just yet (Don’t ask me, it’s a cultural thing). Some people throw a big party to celebrate it but it’s mostly done quietly without any cermonies, just the two people getting married, the Officiant to marry them, and some witnesses in attendance and THAT WAS TODAY FOR US!!
So there we were, SNG and I with our dads as our witnesses in front of the Officiant who talked about how holy a marriage is and about our rights toward each other, and Love, Respect, Trust and Compassion (he said this so many times and made us repeat it after him and made us all laugh). The whole time he spoke SNG couldn’t stop grinning and I couldn’t look at him because that made me want to grin too and I was trying not to look too excited! The Officiant then went on and asked us if we had any terms and conditions for each other and then he asked us if we accept each other on these terms and whatever agreement we have between us in private, the answer was of course YES, then he made us sign a paper and that was it.. like that, MARRIED! HOW CRAZY IS THAT?!!
Our dads shook hands, hugged and congratulated each other, and they took turns to hug SNG and congratulate him and they did the same with me and when they were done they just looked at us, WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT US DADS? I don’t know why I looked at the Officiant then and he smiled and went: “It’s okay, it’s okay, you’re husband and wife!”. I KNOWWWW!!! LET ME PROCESS THAT FOR A BIT! I looked at SNG and he was looking at me, giving me what my sisters call “Signature SNG Smile” and I just couldn’t not smile back (I promise you, you won’t be able to resist 🙈). He stepped toward me and in that moment I got so very nervous, I didn’t know what he was going to do, I didn’t want him to do anything crazy, our dads are watching, I WILL DIE. He didn’t, he went for a forehead kiss (four forehead kisses actually ☺) and he told me later that I looked like I was pleading him but also threatening him not to do anything (I’m sorry 😂).
My dad got a bit emotional and I’ve never seen him like this before, EVER, so I cried and SNG had to remind us that I was still going home with my dad. My dad told him that he didn’t sound very happy about it and he went: “I’m not!”, they laughed, I didn’t, I was still crying! My dad “allowed” him to be the one to drop me off home because this is probably the last time we’d see each other before the wedding. We don’t believe in jinx but our families are a bit dramatic, (“It’ll make the wedding more special” and “You’ll miss each other” and “Just think about your first look moment!”) and now we’re not allowed to see each other for the coming three weeks! So SNG took me home (not before our own mini-party to celebrate the day, hehe 🤭) and I asked him if he’d walk me to the front stairs (I shouldn’t have!), he said he was going to anyway (he shouldn’t have!).
One of my sisters was out on the balcony and her alone was not enough of an audience so she called my other sister to come and watch, and when she did come, she came with a loud ululation to let the whole neighborhood know. It was funny at first but it started getting annoying because they won’t stop. I told them to shut up, they didn’t, instead they kept making the silliest jokes. SNG laughed but then went: “Quiet please, I’m trying to say goodbye to my wife here!”.. and that had the opposite effect on them because they screamed at that, FOOOOOLS!!! (I can’t really say anything to them though, I still can’t stop giggling at the way he said “my wife”). He laughed some more and this time I had to tell them to just go inside and give us a minute, PLEASE! To my surprise, they listened to me for once but not before telling us how to say goodbye to each other (SISTERS FOR SALE! Anyone wants sisters? Buy one get one free? Take them both for free? NO?)
So yeah.. I told him to drive safe, he said okay. I told him to take care of himself, he said he will. I told him I’d see him in three weeks, he said he couldn’t wait (say nothing, okay!). He told me not to get hurt, I told him I won’t, he told me he couldn’t trust me with that so I reminded him of our Officiant’s little chant of “Love, Respect, TRUST, and Compassion” and he laughed. He told me his life’s new goal is to teach me how to dodge falls (Yes, really!), I told him it’s not possible, he told me it is he never falls.. so I made the lamest, the cheesiest and the most stupid joke ever (Yes, THAT one! The one you’re thinking of right now, and yes, YOU CAN CRINGE TOO). The second I said it I was so embarrassed of myself I wanted to run but I couldn’t because HE WOULDN’T LET ME, he forced me to look at him (he’s mean, HE IS SO MEAN!).
Anyways.. (yes, I’m going to skip what happened next.. sawry ☺🙈), he said he’d call me and maybe we could plan a “sneak out date” (LOL), and then he.. umm.. well.. yeah.. said goodbye!
P.S. He sent me a message to tell me that “Some falls you just don’t dodge!”
P.P.S. It’s late here but I’m too giddy to sleep and I’m too giddy to stay still, I don’t know what to do with myself anymore and THREE WEEKS IS SUCH A LONG TIME!

It’s easy. Just get the original SNG doll and hack in a few curves. Stick a few stickynotes in the head to pass for azzo’s hair. I’m thinking red? It’s a good fiery colour, and a symbol of Oppa’s (remember him, azzo? How could you?) fireball hand. Lop off the long pants to boxers-length, and voila! It’s @azzo1 in boxers!

Omigosh. CONGRATS, AZZO!!!! So happy for you. Three weeks is a long time. You can read my sad story on my wall. I wrote a Chapter 3, The Candy and The King, and I know it’s going to be the next big adaptation on Netflix. I had to take a break I was crying so hard. Thinking back to the moment when he wrote that sticky note with his number and you were like, What do I need that for?!! What a comical and heartwarming journey you’ve had from there to here, better than any drama script. SNG went from stranger who made you blush to husband who’s still making you blush. He must be on top of the world, winning your heart and getting ready to take you home. With no noble idiocy and no time skip! Wishing you a warm and wonderful and sometimes comical life together.

Oh this is super-cool! Congratulations on this momentous event. I honestly thought that your story was fan-fiction (I’ve been in hiatus from DB, but i caught parts of your story. Ally’s announcement made me dig files for my password here so i can send you greetings). Aw now i’m sad i can’t have a re-read. This is really really a happy happy development.
